Now home in Florida, l would like to share the wonderful experience of The Grosvenor. Ray, the owner/manager, has English hospitality down to a T. A very clean, comfortable hotel, l was made to feel like family from Day 1. First Class breakfast, a fine old English building with character. Nothing was too much trouble for Ray and his staff....

This is a lovley place to stay we arrived on the doorstep very distressed as our holiday was on the verge of getting ruined because of the terrible caravan site we had started off in, but we were met by a lovley lady who was very understanding and showed us to our room which was a excellent size room 1...

A very welcoming clean, and warm hotel. With an excellent breakfast to start your day. The rooms are basic but all have En suite, with plenty of tea and coffee. Situated very close to the sea front and town centre. Highly recommended

Picked this B&B, as it was in a good location and it had a sign saying fully licensed bar and restaurant, which is what we wanted........to have a drink and a nice evening meal without worry of having to drive.Much to our surprise, there was only a small dark...

We have family in Clacton which entails travelling down from the north for family visits. We have tried several hotels in Clacton but the Grosvenor is by far the best in its price range. Arrival was quick and efficient and the room was really comfortable and spotlessly clean. A nice shower with water that was actually hot all the time...

Really great location, worth paying an extra £10 for the kings room, massive king size comfy bed, massive spacious room, shower is massive! Breakfast was good too! The owner was very pleasant. Nice distance from where all the action is, but not too far... Only gripe were thAt the seagulls woke us up!!!

BBetween the bed which was like a rack of torture and the screeching of the gulls I had 2 awful nights sleep. My Husband chose this place because breakfast was included. I won't be having breakfast I can't walk and am going home to see my Chiropractor! Mrs Carne
