I don’t even know where to start - on arrival it was all a bit of a mess we were tired and hangry and the accommodation was not ready etc - however nothing was too much for them, Sarah on reception and her team went and cleaned our caravan herself and treated us to a bottle of wine for waiting ! Couldn’t have asked for a better outcome ! Then it gets better . When we got home we had left behind my daughters baby blanket that she has had since birth and has tremendous sentimental value. I rang Alison the next day and she said she would look into it ! Apparently Dan went hunting in the laundry and all sorts and retrieved the blanket ! ( it’s a scrap of a blanket dirty and old lol ) really can’t thank them enough for finding this - I could have cried. Overall very happy. Site was spotless and clean. Food was good and good value , friendly bar staff and really friendly in the arcades !…
We stayed for 4 nights in early April with our two grandchildren. We had a chigwell caravan it was clean and warm, space is at a premium but it was well laid out. There were plenty of activities for the kids to get involved with, some require an additional payment. Our 3 year old really enjoyed the Paw Patrol Mighty Missions and it was really good value. The early evening entertainment was aimed at the kids and very interactive the entertainment team worked really hard to get the kids involved, as the evening progressed the entertainment focus switched to cabaret style sets of songs and dance which was very good. A special mention to Purdy in the team who was always energetic and enthusiastic . We had 2 breakfasts and one tea time meal the food was quite good and well priced the hash browns at brekkie were the best! One minor quibble we bought refillable slush containers for the kids and slush ran out early on the Wednesday evening and was still unavailable when we left. A good value break.…
I recently booked a last minute holiday at highfield to surprise the kids and they had the best time! The staff are so friendly every single one said hello and our caravan was perfect im pretty sure it was brand new! The swimming pool had so many fun activities for the kids and they made most of their memories in there! We spent every evening in the clubhouse and the entertainment was great. We have already booked to come back for Halloween and the kids are already counting down the days!
This is my second time at Highfields I am here for a longer period this time. The caravan was in a lovely position not far to walk as I am disabled, clean and maintained to a high standard. The staff in reception go above and beyond to help. Melissa was just so helpful today and making sure that when I come in September that the caravan was going to be near all the amenities. Sarah is also a really helpful person. It makes your stay so relaxing and worry free when you are dealing with such lovely women.
