In a lovely picturesque setting. Nice clean spotless rooms, no complaints there at all. Overpriced as the breakfast was a letdown. Weird colourful cups etc down to owners eclectic artisty taste. The cheapest of the cheap cereals such as supermarket own brands. Nice bread but overall not at good as the Mistley Thorn.

This has to be one of the best and most genuine B n B's around. Situated on the edge of the small village of Bradfield and over looking the river Stour, Emsworth house is an excellent place to base yourself for a few days to explore the local sights and sounds. The rooms clean, the beds super comfy, the sheets...

It is interesting that other reviews rate this b&b quite well, but I have to say I cannot agree. Having spent 5 weeks travelling through the Sth east and nth east of England ,I have stayed at a fair few b&bs and this was the most disappointing. It is at the upper end of pricing ,especially for the area. Whilst our...

Penny was so welcoming and accommodating. The house is spacious and full of curiosities and artwork. The room was beautiful, overlooking stunning gardens and the Stour estuary. Fabulous breakfasts at whatever time you request. Highly recommended.

Emsworth House is a real find. Penny was very welcoming and made us feel very much at home. The room was really comfortable and cosy and the river views were quite simply breathtaking. The walls are bursting with art, much of which is the work of Penny herself. They also have musical instruments on hand including a really warm-sounding piano...

My partner and I visited the area for the night for his Aunts birthday, we found this B&B on Trip Advisor and also as a recommendation from his Aunt who lives locally. We enjoyed the family atmosphere very much. We had a large bedroom with an excellent view of the river and the surrounding area. We were asked what time...

My sister booked this delightful b nb so that we could be near the area where our paternal ancestors lived. My bedroom was very spacious, first rate shower and the full English breakfast was just what I wanted! Penny, the landlady was very attentive, in spite of being obviously busy with an art project. She immediately found out what we...
