I booked 6 rooms for family members when we attended a wedding at Berkley Castle last weekend. The property is really warm and welcoming - we enjoyed a few drinks in the bar on the Friday evening and ordered food which was delicious and freshly cooked to order. The bar staff and management were really friendly and the rooms were...

Exceeded expectations. We booked using our RedLetter Days present of 3 course evening meal, 1 night accommodation and breakfast. We had to choose from a variety of places. This one fitted the bill for the type of experience we wanted. We honestly think that we could not have chosen better. Easy to find. Plenty of parking. Easy check-in. Delightful room....

There is a shortage of any accommodation in this town so if there's a function at the castle and other events your choice is limited. This hotel is ok. It's clean enough, has its own parking, staff are friendly and there's plenty of food at breakfast. That said the choice of food at breakfast is limited, it feels very dated,...

Absolutely excellent service with friendly and helpful staff who supported the family through a busy wedding weekend. The food was good quality and enjoyed by everyone. Parking was available at the Malt House and it is easy walking distance to the village and castle. Would thoroughly recommend.

Stayed here for 2 nights for a family wedding at the castle. The Berkeley Arms where the rest of my family were staying was full, so I booked the Malt House as it was just round the corner and still very near the castle. I booked a Superior Double. Based on the reviews, and the high price of £119 per...

Rooms are good with comfy bed, food is very good, and the staff are very helpful and friendly. Good parking area. Within easy walking distance to Berkeley Castle for weddings. Much better than the standard chain hotels.
