Stayed here as we were attending a show at the lowry and also the corrie tour. We loved the location, parking easy and a lot cheaper as we stayed. Check in was fast and fuss free and staff were really helpful. Room was big, and spotless, bed really comfy and bathroom great. Breakfast next day was superb and I cant wait to stay again. This hotel brand is really my favorite go to now

We stayed for 2 nights and had an enjoyable stay. All the staff members we met at Reception and behind the Bar were so friendly & chatty. We loved the location. Easy to get to Manchester and great for the surrounding area. Coop is next door and the car park is convenient. Nice to get the discounted rate of £11 per 24 hours. Room was a good size and had a nice bed. Bathroom modern too. Nice views of media city out of the big windows too. We preferred this area than staying in town and will definitely come back. Thank you.

What a stay (10.05.23) from the minute I booked months ago this hotel has helped every minute to make it perfect for my friends 40th. Jess thank you for helping with the pestering emails I've sent, you are a blessing to the hotel, you have gone above and beyond to assist me. And thank you all Eve, Sarah, Ella, Elizabeth, James & Louiza for helping with room decorations, cake help, night out knowledge, morning 'happy birthday' brownie plate to the birthday girls room to name a few times you were all great. Staff great, good location, restaurant food was lovely, there was a wide range of breakfast products which were replenished often making sure no one missed out on anything. Room was really good size and clean. check in was easy. Nice bar area, with very friendly staff. There was one downside, but it was dealt with immediately, our first night at the hotel we had a really bad night's sleep. The double bed was very uncomfortable, it had a very noticeable dip in the middle which we were constantly rolling into, our joints were sore and achy in the morning and we were extremely tired. We went to reception after breakfast, to bring the matter to the staff's attention. We spoke to Eve, Front office manager, she couldn't have been more helpful, she immediately offered to move us to another room, which we were grateful for, she said it may take a while. However we returned to our room and in no time at all she phoned to say that a room was ready and she would bring up the key. Eve arrived and told us she had upgraded us to a top floor room with a king bed that had a new mattress, she also enhanced my points as I am an IHG Member. We cannot praise Eve enough for dealing with us so quickly and professionally she certainly went above and beyond. That night we slept so well. Thank you for looking after us so well. …

I’m staying here at the time of this review but have stayed before. Firstly the lifts are really bad, buttons dont work, the cards take multiple swipes to work and I was stuck in one last time for a few mins between floors. On settling into my room this time I noticed it was full of flies, I counted 23 open the window alone, it also had broken desk sockets. Got a replacement room and had to move which was a pain. New room has a broken fridge control panel, you could put your finger in the missing bit hole and potentially get a shock, on sitting on the desk chair the back gave way hurting my back, the peephole cover is really loose. It’s pretty poor compared to others in the area.

Hotel staff are great, friendly, professional - with a smile to greet. Ella was on the desk when I arrived, she was already on a phone call but acknowledged me and also let me know that she could start to book me in as she was waiting for the other company to answer, but if necessary would have to pause if the organisation answered. I was perfectly happy with that as at every point she kept me informed and apologised for keeping me waiting - even so, I was booked in and card key issued within 3-4 minutes of my arrival. I was impressed. Paul at the bar is also good - he makes a great latte and engages in conversation when applicable. The rooms are always clean and quiet. Very happy to recommend.

We had a lovely stay. From the moment we arrived the staff were friendly professional and helpful. Our room was was excellent clean and comfortable and had spectacular views. We enjoyed drinks in the comfortable bar with friendly service. Breakfast was lovely with plenty of choice and we enjoyed a really good meal in Marco's where once again the service was excellent. The location is great with plenty of other bars and restaurants and other things to do. We visited the outlet mall and took in a show and the Lowry exhibition. It was just a short tram ride to get to the Bridgewater Hall to see the show we had booked. I would highly reccomend a stay here and we will be back!

From reception through the bar to the restaurant staff this is a great experience. All starts friendly and helpful and this is maintained throughout the stay. Room is a great size and well-equipped. Food is served with care and attention. Hamburger is delicious. Close to the tram to get into town and there is a theatre and shops to visit locally.

I am a regular client and even hotel is always busy, all receptionists tell my name on reception before you have had a chance to say it! I find this amazing! The rooms are clean, nice layout, with comfortable beds and good amenities. many to choose from the restaurant's menu, breakfast is really nice and food always fresh. Team is just brilliant! Lots of young people, very nice and polite. Everyone is genuinely welcoming. I’d pick out Michael and Paul from the bar - great customer service! What always makes my stay great is the desk in the room, very good for those who are on laptops.
