We stayed one night at Flossies B&B and the initial welcome received was a little frosty, we weren't even asked our names, just told we were the last guests to arrive (we arrived at 6.30pm, not midnight) and to make our way straight upstairs. The decor in the stairwell is very very tired, with chipped paint and a musty smell.... More

Room grubby. Small kitchen area with a dirty J cloth. At breakfast sat down & was told very rudely we had sat at the wrong table. Breakfast poor, frozen bread provided for toast. Another gentleman asked for butter & some was brought in & thrown down in the dish, not even handed to him. The place needed a good clean.£105pn... More

BE SURE TO GET YOUR BOOKING IN WRITING! I phoned to book months in advance and to check breakfast times as these weren’t shown on the web, and I needed to have early starts on both days at 7am. I was told breakfast at weekends was 8am, and was then offered “bed only” at £5 less per day which I... More

I booked a room for a night online and the B&B website requires bank cards details to confirm the booking but confirms that this is not a payment. Payment is to be made when you check in at the B&B. Few hours later, I realised that the check in closing time was too early so I cancelled my booking but... More

After arriving on my outdoors course, I booked with flossies needing somewhere to stay, I booked a room via telephone booking and paid with my card, unfortunately I couldn't make it to the hotel, as my lift there had to cancel. I was told to cancel it 'a £7.99 charge fee would occur, I didn't mind paying that fee, as... More

Had a wonderful stay at this quaint B&B. Grounds were beautiful and the owners were very welcoming and helpful. Can't wait to visit again! Very pet friendly and their dogs were well behaved and good company. The breakfast was outstanding 5 star! Very handy having a village store just downstairs

This is a very poor place to stay in my experience. Grubby. Paid for b and b but told there is no breakfast !!! The room was in the outhouse in what seemed the farm yard !!! Very cold. The owners were unhelpful in every way. All seemed grubby.
