We had to stay in a hotel in our home town after a leak left us unable to stay in our house. The first night the bed for our daughter was not made up so we had to wait 15 minutes to swap rooms when it was already after 10pm and our daughter was exhausted. The restaurant was advertised as open until 11pm but when I went down at 10.30pm I was told the kitchen closed at 10pm so I had to go out to get dinner for my wife and I. The air con was pretty loud in the night and woke my wife a few times. During the night on our second night the sheet came off the bed a little to reveal a horribly stained mattress protector that I’m not sure has been cleaned in it’s life. Not good anytime but let alone during COVID 🙈🙈 also not worth the money just because it’s the holidays but we had no choice.

This was a comfortable, convenient and competitively priced hotel stay prior to our visit to Middle Wallop airfield for the Classic Wings & Wheels show. The adjacent Brewers Fayre restaurant provided an excellent 3-course evening meal for me, my wife and another couple who were on the same trip.

Stayed at Andover for one night checked in at 4 no hot water went to reception explained the situation she said I’ll check the boiler. Went back after a drink at 6 still no hot water went to reception I haven’t had time. I asked to change room, all full sorry ☹️ Well staying in room 2 right next to the banging fire door all night and early morning😡 still no hot water in the morning absolutely ridiculous situation for £50 chatted to receptionist on checkout she gave me a card to contact customer relations, to which I’ve done. Overall really poor if there were any available rooms in the nearby travel lodge we would have gone there. My tip is don’t accept room 2 check the water is hot 👎☹️

Small dark room which stank of stale cigarettes. We stay at Premier Inns all the time (it is our “go to” chain), and this room was so awful we had to leave (no other room available, all other Premier Inns sold out). Definitely avoid!

Hi there, Thanks for taking the time to leave us a review, it is disappointing to hear that your room was dark and smelt. We can appreciate this wouldn't have been ideal and is certainly not what we want for our guests. We will ensure your comments are shared with the hotel to avoid this happening again and we do hope that in time we can welcome you back for a more enjoyable stay. Thanks Kayleigh
