Having just returned from a mini break at The Lismoyne, it's such a pleasure to write a review on such a well positioned, picturesque, comfortable, clean and friendly hotel. Breakfast was a treat - and so hot. Just a short walk to the Fleet shops and pleasant countryside - we couldn't have chosen better. The staff ( Gavin in reception...

Stayed for a family party. Considering it is £80 pounds a night I felt it didn't match the prize. Breakfast on the Sunday was ok but breakfast on the Monday was poor as some of the hot food hadn't been replaced. A member of my family had to ask for coffee twice. We wanted to sit near our family but...

There were good and bad points to this hotel. I'll start with the good. The location was excellent, just under an hour from Southampton, lots of lovely areas around to visit too. The hotel itself- looks lovely, quite oldy-worldly, clean, good size rooms, lovely outside space which a lot of the bedrooms look out on to (although that also comes...

Very expansive and room was very small, heating in the room was not good. Staff is not really friendly. I have to change the hotel after 1 night of stay. Parking area is always full at night. For WiFi you need to pay for multiple devices.

This Hotel has a lot of character. Staff are all so so friendly. From the reception to the bar to the kitchen. Good breakfast spread, with hot and cold options. Even will make eggs to order. Bedrooms were fine

Recently stayed at The Lismoyne. From the moment we arrived we found the staff very helpful and friendly, nothing seemed too much trouble for them. We had a nice room overlooking the garden. Only downside needs better sound insulation between floors. Breakfast was excellent, a really good selection of cold and hot food. Particularly enjoyed the lovely flat fresh mushrooms,...

here after a local funeral. the bar staff were really slow and considering it wasn't that busy the wait seemed like forever. the place is a bit tired and 1970's but on the plus side the parking was very easy.

Stayed for 2 nights B&B in executive double. Cannot fault staff & their service given the resources they are working with. The receptionist did everything she could to address our queries and offered a room change. Overall, the hotel has lacked investment and although reference was made to planned re-furbishing, I am not comfortable paying for 4star yet bathroom etc...

We had an excellent short break at this hotel. We chose hotel because of location to our family who have just moved to the area. Not all of the write ups on trip advisor were positive. .. so we were very pleased to find a friendly welcome, clean, spacious room and good food. We will certainly return. Excellent break.
