This was brought as a Groupon deal and we had a lovely relaxing stay. Staff could not have been more accommodating and we were made to feel right at home and shared some laughs. A real family feel. Food was delicious ...both breakfast and evening meal. Didn't have our cream tea when we arrived and they packed it up for... More

We had a one night Groupon break on the way back from visiting relatives. Although booking confirmation received the staff were not expecting us. We were shown to a very tired, not particularly clean room which was not worth the money, but we were tired from travelling so stayed anyway. The room and outside corridors were freezing cold and the... More

We wete a bit surprised by the location of this old barn conversion. It was in the middle of an industrial estate and next to a demolished building with a fair bit of rubble still there. Once inside it was exactly as we had hoped. Full of character and charm. The owner was also charming. Our room was lovely, large clean... More

we have just returned from what we have to say was the most amazing time at this lovely hotel. We could not fault anything from start to finish and would recommend anyone to visit. The scones in the cream tea were absolutely delicious . We chose to have our evening meal in the restaurant and that also was excellent. A... More

We went as this was featured in Hampshire Life, thought is was going to be high end, but sadly it was not. Great for a pub lunch style meal but no more. The rose wine was billed as an English wine, but was made from imported grape concentrate. It was OK but pub grub without the pub.

Stayed for two nights in a single room. The reviews I had read were slightly misleading. The room needed a tremendous amount of updating to justify a price of £95 a room(not including breakfast). If anything, whilst the room was clean,it was tatty. My room was not made up over the two days which I found surprising.I ate there both nights from a very small... The staff here is extremely polite and friendly. The food is top quality, amazing dinner and breakfast, and the room was really nice, confortable bed and set up to high standard. Definitely worth a visit, we'll come back as soon as we can!

What a beautiful relaxing place to eat and stay - I have stayed there myself on several occasions and also taken my family there for breakfast and the amazing hospitality that comes with it. The staff are a great team and we have made some life long friends through our stay here. Hope to be back some time soon. Top... More

Having visited the barn for a lovely afternoon cream tea and encountered delightful staff and a lovely tea, we booked a steak dinner through Groupon. Sadly our second visit was very disappointing, the service was awful, despite only two other tables being occupied and the steak was the toughest, poorest, quality imaginable -what a shame after our first positive experience!

The stay here was lovely. Comfortable room and very friendly. The food was so good and such good value. Enjoyed a cream tea, two course evening meal and a full English breakfast which was all fantastic. Would stay again
