Last minute decision to eat here. Lovely atmosphere. Plenty of parking. Food was lovely. I had the Salmon parcel. Was beautiful. Location is lovely. I was staying at The Vine but the food was awful. Someone suggested this place. Glad they did

We stopped of for breakfast before a walk. After a little wait at the wait here to be served point, we were met by two "are you checking out?" No we we're wanting breakfast. We'd been a couple times before and usually cause confusion as we weren't residents. Two full English please, one with a vegetarian sausage..."Have you tried a...

Heard good reviews about the Sunday roasts! But at £17.99 for a two meat roast with only 3 roast potatoes 1 slice of pork 1 slice of beef, not good value for money! Two roasts one glass of wine & a black currant & soda £42.50!!! Definitely won't be going back!

Love the Mortimer Arms, the staff are always very friendly, the food is very good and the portions are far from small...so go hungry! Great for Sunday lunch, the roasts are amazing. Highly recommend this family friendly pub/restaurant.

Met up for a family get together (9 of us) for Sunday lunch. First visit and it was great. All staff were welcoming and friendly, waitress service at the table was excellent, pleasant style and efficient. Service was fast, food quality excellent (choice of three roast dinners for Sunday lunch) plus an extensive menu offering if you wish. Portions were...

Our choices were mussels, pie and chips and burger, not all served on the same plate!! Good meals, but portions were too much for ladies to get through. Good service and not rushed to move on. There has to be something for everyone on the menu including sarnies. Plenty of parking on site but I expect it gets packed during...

I came here on a Friday night with a friend for a some food. The staff were very friendly and pleasant. The menu has a good range of dishes (although a little pricey). I had the pork belly which was delicious. Despite being a Friday night, the bar was very quiet as most people were eating in the restaurant, so...

Excellent lunch with large portions although mixed vegetables were cold. Decided against mentioning this otherwise lunch would have been delayed. Good service and quite quick considering the dishes chosen. Apple crumble was covered in some sort of unappetising dust but filling was tasty. Mix-up with coffee. Ordered 3 but one was incorrect. Mentioned this and received the correct on but...

We wanted to visit relatives nearby and were pleased to find The Mortimer allowed dogs. We booked direct as usually dog friendly rooms are limited and it is never clear that one is available on a booking site. We stayed for 3 nights and were happy to have a refurbished room with a hard floor, we have experienced some establishments...
