Hadn't been to the Three Cups for a while, but decided to take visitors from NZ there. It proved to be one of the culinary highlights of their visit. Two of the group enjoyed the meat sharing platter and the cheese selection, which were generous and delicious. The other top dish was the smoked haddock on crushed potatoes with a...

We visited the Three Cups for a family meal during our holiday in the area. We were looking for a dog friendly place we could eat as we have two cockapoos. There were water bowls for the dog at the front door and another inside. A sign at the front door confirmed 'dogs welcome'. The atmosphere was welcoming and when...

2 of us went for lunch at this old inn and restaurant..We both chose the cold fish platter..We both found it excellent ..the only complaint was the time it took to arrive ..We must have waited at least 30 minutes ..and the restaurant was not that busy ..Otherwise an excellent meal

Stayed here for one night whilst down on business. The room was large and nicely furnished. Tea and coffee making facilities with proper milk which was a very nice touch! Breakfast was very good and evening meal was pleasant also. My only slight moan was that there was a cat wandering around at one stage during my meal. No major...

Lovely meal, friendly staff. Menu was interesting, steaks perfect. Great gin. Rooms were small but for only one night it was more than okay. Cookies and sweeties on the tray were a plus. Free WiFi and spotless bathroom.

We stopped at this pub on our way to Dorset. It is a poor relation of its rival pub, the Greyhound which is opposite and which sadly was fully booked. The atmosphere at The Three Cups Inn is lacking in charm. The wine list, in particular for wines by the glass, is slightly inadequate and the food is lacking in...

We booked for one night, with a well behaved dog, in a small room. The room was perfect for us. Tea, coffee, hot chocolate , biscuits and Jelly Beans all complementary. Very good, hot and powerful shower. Plenty of toiletries available. The bed was very comfortable and the bedding extremely clean. The staff warned us that the pub may be...

We had a really lovely family meal. The staff suggested wine and food that we might like to try. They also try to locally source the food. The fig starter was amazing. We ate in the conservatory, lovely china and clean cutlery a pet hate of mine is dirty forks and glasses. And real butter not those stupid butter packets,...
