Lynne M. - We had our wedding reception here in 2003 and it was lovely. Since then the hotel has been tastefully renovated and it is simply charming. We stayed in a standard double. It was a lovely sized room with plenty of space. We had a 3 course dinner at the hotel and breakfast the following morning. I cannot fault...

The Hotel staff were polite and helpful. The room was lovely with a very comfortable bed. We had a four poster room at the back of the hotel and it was very quiet. The bathroom was modern and clean with a fantastic shower. The location was superb. right at the top of a lovely little high street with nice little...

We felt we needed to recharge our batteries so myself and my husband treated ourselves to a few days at our favorite hotel in Lyndhurst The Crown. We arranged an early check in time and when we arrived a little after mid day our room was ready and waiting for us to begin our stay. The hotel receptionist greeted us...

We didn't stay here unfortunately, just happened upon it whilst hunting for afternoon tea in Lyndhurst. The hotel itself was lovely, staff were all incredibly polite and friendly and the afternoon tea was delicious and a really good price (surprisingly cheaper than the tea rooms dotted along the High Street). Would definitely return and spend the night!

Since I visited late last year the menu has changed but the food is still excellent. Make sure that you look at the specials menu. The rooms are good and well maintained and all the staff at the hotel are very helpful and polite.

My husband and I have just come back from a five night break at this hotel which we booked direct with the hotel on one of their deals. The hotel was great - part of the hotel dates back to the 15th century and has been sympathetically decorated inside in a much more contemporary country house style. We had dinner...

Just returned from 3 night stay. Lovely hotel - we particularly liked the cosy library and the lounge. We stayed in room 107. Very comfy four poster bed, nice armchairs and a nice, well appointed bathroom with full size toiletries - not those tiny little bottles! Even though the room was directly opposite the very creaky staircase and faced the...

Right in the middle of the New Forest! The small village is great and the hotel is the what a call a boutique hotel with an amazing restaurant! The starters with duck was great and also the main with pork (can't remeber the name), great staff and the room always also good! English breakfast as expected (great) and after the...
