Booked here for just one night on route from our travels. We had a very cosy attic room which had a very nice en suite, comfy bed, complimentary tea/coffee,hairdryer etc all the things we needed after a long journey. Yes the room is small but for an overnight stay was perfectly adequate. We had evening dinner in the restaurant which was superb...

Could only stay for one night as our friends visiting from Australia had a cruise ship to catch. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay, good location, very friendly and helpful staff and good food. We had a room at the front but had no problems with traffic noise and our shower unit was particularly spacious. We were on the top...

Stayed for 2 nights in a Superior double room. Was extremely spacious and we were very appreciative of the air conditioning as it was extremely hot in the room. Breakfast was very good with plenty to choose from. We ate out the first night we were there, but our last night we decided to eat in the restaurant which was...

Stopped at the Crown Manor for a 3 night break. It was our third visit to the hotel, and we returned because we love the hotel and its location in the beautiful town of Lyndhurst. Overall we had a lovely relaxing break in this beautiful old property. We found all of the staff to be friendly and helpful, and the...

Booked a stay here for 2 nights primarily as we wanted to take our little one to Peppa Pig World at Paultons Park (10 minutes drive away). I booked a 'family room' through another travel site and was delighted to find that we were staying in an extremely spacious suite. Our bedroom was large and there was a sitting room...

First of all let me share a bit of background. This review is based on a 25-night stay so we were definitely able to get a very extensive assessment of the hotel. Second of all we have lived in three countries and stayed in many different types of hotel on four continents from 5-star palaces in the Swiss Alps to...

Nice big car park, and as we parked up we thought we could smell fish and chips and our hearts rather sank. We went into the hotel the back way and, again, our hearts rather sank when we saw the swirly carpets and there was no one at reception and no one came when we rang the bell. Then everything...

We stayed at this hotel several months ago for a long weekend. We chose a four poster room which was absolutely lovely. The bathroom was immaculate and the shower brand new and very high tech. The service is great and the room was cleaned regularly. The hotel is located at the top of the village and a two second stroll...

Great location with parking. Very stylish hotel which was clean and comfortable (beautiful ensuite). Friendly, helpful staff. Huge English breakfast with everything you'd expect; fruit, pastries, yoghurt, variety of breads.
