We stayed at the Whitemoor House Hotel and were extremely impressed! The rooms were clean and tidy, the washroom was well maintained and appointed, the beds were luxuriously soft and far more comfortable than you might expect for out-of-the-way lodging. I'm surprised I hadn't heard of it before, having stayed in the area a few times in the past. The...

Having never been to the area before I stumbled upon this great B&B and I couldn't have hoped for a better nights sleep. Perfect doesn't do the place justice the land lady was friendly and welcoming, the food was spot on and the room and communal rooms were spotless. I stayed over night on the 10th of August and was...

John and Stephanie thoroughly deserve all the praise they have been given in previous reviews. They are the perfect hosts of a lovely B&B, set in a beautiful area of The New Forest. Can't wait to go back!

I would highly recommend this B&B for a stay in Lyndhurst. Situated round the corner from the village main street, it is in a perfect location (about a five minute walk to the village centre). We stayed for two nights (Friday and Saturday, end of July) in the Burley Room at the back of the residence (immaculate and so quiet...

I literally cannot find a single fault with Whitemoor House. The booking, checking in and checking out was simple and seamless. My fiance and I stayed here for 3 nights over a weekend and the service we received was better than any hotel we have stayed in. We were served tea and homemade cake on arrival and the breakfast every...

Every time we stay in the New Forest ( which is a few years now) there is only one place to stay and that is Whitemoor House, Lyndhurst. On arrival we were greeted with tea and homemade cake which was lovely. The breakfast, which is locally sourced is superb and sets you up for the day, there is always homemade...

very welcoming, clean and well presented room. Lovely breakfast and honesty bar is a nice touch. Genuine hosts who appear to enjoy meeting people! wanted to buy some runny honey, and when it was sold out we were given a small pot to take with us.

We suddenly felt like we needed a night away. Booking little before 8pm on a Friday night for just one night away, we never thought for one minute that we would be so lucky. John and Stephanie were the most friendly and accommodating hosts, meeting us at the door on arrival and preparing a refreshing drink in the garden as...

We had a fantastic stay for 4 nights, room was really lovely, 4 poster bed, bath and shower to suit us both. Bed really comfy and high quality bedding, with homemade fudge everyday. Breakfast was excellent, with home made jams and lemon curd, very nice! John and Stephanie couldn't have done more to ensure we had a really great time....

My husband and I spent 2 nights here recently and were very impressed by the quality of the rooms, especially the luxurious bed with wonderful linens. John and Stephanie were very attentive hosts and the breakfasts were delicious. There is also an extensive choice of cereals, fruits and yogurts to start with. We make our own marmalade, jam, lemon curd, granola and welcome cake. We provide well stocked mini bars, a cosy lounge with real fires for those winter months, a sunny garden for warmer days, an extensive library of maps, guide books, DVDs and board games plus complimentary Wi-Fi in each room. Your comfort and enjoyment during your visit is our top priority. Lyndhurst village centre is just 7-8 minutes stroll away and has an excellent selection of restaurants, pubs and tea/coffee shops.
