Rather disorganised arrival as booking had been wrongly recorded. Bar busy & serving staff could have been friendlier. However food was very good. We had the carvery, which included up to 3 roasted meats & a good variety of veg. Really no room for puds, but shared a couple between us & they were lovely. Waiting staff friendlier than bar...

Well, I made a return visit after some years. In the 80s and 90s we used to drive out for a walk and a drink. It was always busy, but we loved it. I met an old friend one morning and we walked before having lunch here. The wark was predictably muddy but beautiful. Saw no deer as were making...

Oh dear! what an amazing if rather down and off the the beaten track place. Pony's using the beer garden, just great and so quiet. Fantastic clean, comfortable and very spacious 'owl' suite. But Oh dear! The staff ! So young, indifferent to the point of insolence (where was the licensèe ?) The menu in the dark ages along with...

Had a bite to eat in this inn that's situated in almost the middle of nowhere! Cosy inside extensive menu, typical kind of low risk pub that most walkers crave to Re boast those lost energy levels. I had the gammon chips and eggs, my lover had the lamb burger chips salad, all very pleasant, we finished with a couple...

On a very cold Sunday we went for a walk in the beautiful forest around the a high Corner Inn. The went in to a lovely cosy very old inn to a welcome fire and a drink. Watched the rugby and then had a great freshly cooked meal! They do a great carvery. Oh yes the dogs were welcomed too!...

The High Corner is set within the New Forest , and what a beautiful setting. On our visit , we unfortunately couldn't make full use of the beer garden , the children's play area , the adjoining trails off in to the realm of the New Forest. We sampled the carvery , being a Sunday it just had to be...

Right in the middle of the forrest, lovely hotel with pub/restaurant on site, highly recommended. Bath was huge! Lovely clean room and no charge for dogs either which is fab! Food is nice and well priced. Only down side was the springs in the mattress dug into you.

Great place to stay with our bulldog Fergie. Team are lovely and welcoming, food is excellent, service is great and the place itself is amazing. Lovely walks, quiet and peaceful (although I can imagine it is madness in summer, as they have a large beer garden!) Loved it.

We stayed here on 2012, and were pleased to find it hasn't changed much. It's not the easiest place to get to, the road had improved slightly, but it's a bumpy ride ! We asked for the biggest room that allowed a dog, and were given Normandy, which was a good size. Because we have a dog, we don't expect...

The HIgh corner Inn is a great place to stay in the forest. Well off the beaten track and yet not badly placed to get to local attractions. There is good walking to be had from the doorstep. The staff were all helpful and pleasant and the room was spotless and of a good size making it a good value...
