Went with my better half for a mid week break. Amazing countryside, lots to do in the surrounding area. The motor car museum is well worth a visit and the village of Beaulieu is stunning. The old bakery does delicious scones. The hotel was honestly a mixed bag. Wonderful staff and terrific views over the river and surrounds, from all...

We recently stayed here and I was disappointed with the lack if facilities for disabled guests.. newly redecorated rooms, you could still smell the paint! However ground floor rooms which would have been ideal for a disabled or elderly guest did not offer walk in showers these could only be found on the first floor after climbing the stairs, no...

We booked through Bookings.com but the information we provided that we were bringing two dogs with us only arrived the day we left! We had a room number 5 Tristan)which was comfortable and had a coffee machine which we appreciated very much. The bed was huge and comfy. Toiletries were provided int he bathroom and there was a hairdryer. We...

This pub is great on a sunny afternoon. Plenty of outdoor seating, a good selection of food for kids and dog friendly. Great spot to go for a walk along the river after lunch or enjoy the sunshine on the green.

Bucklers Hard exceeded all our expectations. From the time we arrived the staff were helpful, pleasant and dealt with our questions and requests efficiently and immediately made us feel at home. The room was comfortable, and the quirky bits of decor added a touch that elevated it above 'just another hotel room'.We found the restaurant to be exceptional. The view...

.............. 48th Wedding Anniversary this time. Over the last five years we have stayed at MBHH for several family celebrations (and also stayed for no reason at all, just because we love staying there). We were not disappointed this time. From check in to departure we were made to feel special by the very high standard of service from the...

The hotel is quite nice and peaceful. Our room was very spacious and comfortable. We had dinner in the pub and the food was very good. The little village of Bucklers Hard is quaint and we enjoyed a visit to the museum there, but there isn't much else around. It was a good stopping point on our way from Dartmouth...

A great location on the banks of the river Beaulieu. We wre 2 adults and a child and were allocated a great room that consisted of a bedroom and adjoining sitting room. Room was good but a few amenities were missing (coffee pods, only 2 towels) however otherwise very good. Pleasant walk from the hotel to beaulieu along the river...

One of the best places we have stayed at, clean nice décor helpful staff great food pleasant surroundings relaxing walks if there was a down side which is very minor was that the wifi was not great probably not the hotel's fault. Will return when we can hopefully this year.

Dear Andy, Thank you for your lovely review. I am pleased to read that you enjoyed your first visit to our hotel and that we are now one of your firm favourites! We have recently had an 'upgrade' on our Wi-Fi which has given us a noticeable improvement in speed and connection. I am sorry if this wasn't the case...

Had an overnight stay at Master Builders, staying in a very comfortable room in the Henry Adams wing. It was refreshing to stay in a very well appointed room, the nautical decor was a welcome departure from the usual corporate affect. Very comfortable bed, pristine bed linen. Large walk in shower, lovely fluffy towels. Breakfast was very nice and we...
