We had a great stay that could easily have been a disaster, the fact that it wasn't is entirely due to Simon, the owner who went out of his way, literally, to make sure we had a great break.

Lovely traditional pub with great food. We booked & were sat by the open fire which was gorgeous. Very dog friendly with water bowls & treats. The staff were really friendly. The fumble is highly recommended!

To be honest, as I don't have children, I tend not to take any notice of play areas, but there was, I do remember, a bouncy castle (not permanent though) and play areas for children to play in. Lots of children were having lots of fun whilst we were there but the garden was large enough for it not to be a nuisance.
Hope this helps you and you go and enjoy yourself there.
