You know it's great when you start at 2 and finish 5 hours later!!! Arrived to an extremely helpful young man who could see we were unsure of where to go. Kindly, he directed us to the right place. We were celebrating for a bride to be and we were given our own room overlooking the water features and golf...

Immaculate presentation and scale give this place an impressive dimension. I went there for drinks at the Stables. The decor is very restrained, sober colours with a bit of an overdose of pastels. It's not to my taste but that doesn't make it bad. The staff are all very polite, attentive and superbly turned out. If I were in charge...

Our first to the Glasshouse Restaurant, and the initial impressions were very good. Light, bright and professional. We were shown to our table (we were told it was one with the best views!) and given an albeit brief explanation of the layout of the restaurant and where the hot and cold food were. There was a goodly selection with something...

My wife and I stayed at The Grove for a night, and booked one of the packages they offer which includes an evening meal at Collettes Restaurant. Whilst checking in I was asked if I would like to upgrade the room........ that old chestnut, however I was in a good mood 😁 so decided to indulge the receptionist in her...

I had a nice room with loads of space and with a good view and a balcony. Good breakfast selection. Hotel has nice grounds. Came on a business trip and unfortunately didn't get to check out many other facilities!

As someone who enjoys their food, we decided to take the 5 course tasting menu for the table, and as i have a seafood allergy i was offered a mushroom risotto which as it turned out to be, for me, the highlight of the menu. The Fois gras in Cider was ok but why play with such expensive ingredients when...

Excellent hotel with staff who really know and care about superb customer service. From check in ( and they whisked my car away) to check out and everything in between, our stay was lovely. We dined in the Glass House and the food was great. The Spa was excellent and the weekend weather was the icing on the cake.

Great family weekend at the Grove. Food fantastic, rooms average, the walled garden for the kids was out of this world. Some of the staff were quite rude , but on average they were very pleasant. My Niece (aged 6) had a bad fall in the children's play area, she fell off an umpires chair that was left in the...

My family and I had the most stunning meal on Saturday night. I couldn't believe how fast the service was even at peak times. I had the mozzarella and artichoke salad to start which tasted so fresh. My kids had pizza and pasta which they loved. To follow was a medium rare ribeye cooked perfectly with a yummy mushroom and...

The Grove is situated in an amazingly idyllic setting considering it 5 mins drive from Watford junction Station and thus close to London. The facilities are good. The conference facilities are spacious (although slightly cold). The bed rooms are what you would expect from a hotel of this standing. Lovely crisp sheets, large bathrooms, reasonably sound proofed. It is a...
