Thank you for your review. I am pleased you found your bedroom a good size, with nice chair, TV and facilities. I am sorry the bath plug hole appeared disgusting. This is clean but dripping water has caused erosion of the enamel; I will get this damage repaired. This bedroom has a liquid soap dispenser rather than a bar of...

My Key 3 Iron - Pass - but only after the duty manager could work out how to switch it on. WiFi - Pass - But only after I ignored the instructions and registered. Poached Eggs - massive fail. In fact what they do to eggs here should be reported! Positives - this is a 'budget' (or I like to...

Thank you for your 3 star review. I agree the hotel would benefit from some investment and the current hotel owners have plans to redevelop the hotel in 2017. The Head Housekeeper did read your review and made showerhead cleaning the job of the day. The hotel information on accessing the hotel Wi-Fi does state that registration is required; sorry...

Well I always thought Ramada was a good brand of hotel. Don't waste your time booking in here. I was seated at the restaurant and it took 20 mins to get a menu....and a simple sandwich took 45 mins. Still could be worse, the table next to me it took 1hr 45 to get a salad. There were 3 tables...

Thank you for your review. I am sorry you experienced poor food service on this occasion and apologise; on this particular evening the service team lacked supervision and action has been taken to address this. The property would indeed benefit from some investment and the current hotel owners do have plans to redevelop the hotel in 2017.

This hotel is very well situated - but it is very tired and shabby inside and in need of a refurb. Reception and check in were very good though. We went for a 'murder, mystery' evening. We had received printed instructions for the evening but were given three different times by Ramada staff about the time of the evening and...

Thank you for your 3 star review. I am pleased to read you found your bedroom a good size, your check in very good and the murder mystery company excellent. I am sorry you felt you received varied information regarding the timing of the murder mystery evening; the sit down time is always the same, when you arrive in the...

I stayed here for two nights on business. The room was clean but noisy during the evening being close to reception and on the ground floor. Parking is easy and the hotel is conveniently situated near the A1. The breakfast had plenty of variety.

We were only here overnight after visiting the harry potter tour. We arrived around seven in the evening. The staff were still welcoming and helpful. The room was big enough, warm and clean. Our evening meal was buffet style, three courses and replenished several times so that no one went without. Although we were on a main road, we noticed no outside...

Ignore the outside of the building, inside is surprisingly better. We got a triple room, so was much bigger than expected. Super comfortable room, squeeky clean, nice bedding and warm. WiFi in room, tea and coffee, desk for laptop. Food was good, buffet good choice, breakfast hot and cold, couldn't fault our overnight stay, would definitely stay again. Nice friendly...
