Fine manor house in luxurious gardens with golf course only a few minutes drive from the M25. Good dinner on the Friday night for about 30 of us. Food on the day of the wedding was prepared by outside caterers but the hotel staff and service was of a very good standard. We certainly had a better experience than one...

Stayed for one night, drive up to the hotel is impressive and the car park is generous. Lovely views over the garden / golf course. Room very nice. The hotel is great for those who don't want to stay in the featureless modern hotels that are so common now. The staff in the restaurant were lovely, so it was a...

We arrived at the hotel after Harry Potter day, looked amazing at night, the women on the reception was rude and grumpy, there was a little confusion with the room as only 1 person was booked in, we ended up paying a lot extra than thought for their mistake? ... room 28 on the ground floor, sparkling clean and the...

We stayed in a Manor House superior double suite for a night and it was absolutely brilliant! Extremely clean, big TV, a huge and super comfortable bed, big bathroom fully stocked with soaps etc. Had a 3 course meal in the Orangery and it was delicious, followed by continental breakfast in the morning which was also delicious. Staff were really...

Not quite the bonanza we had hoped for, though a reasonable effort. Immediately disappointed on arrival to discover that our family table of 12 weren't to be served in the restaurant (as pictured) but in a rather large and soul less corporate room off the main reception which lacked any atmosphere; particularly odd as the 'group booking' occupying the restaurant...

The room had plenty of space but, honestly, that's about as good as it gets. For a four star hotel it was really below par. The customer service was very poor. We left our car in the drop off parking outside the lobby, with lights on, and forgot to go back and move it. Though our number plate was in...

I booked a big family Christmas Lunch for 21 people on 18th December. The staff were wonderful, they couldn't do enough for us. Nothing was too much trouble, including changing the table layout from one long table into two round ones and completely re-laying all the settings. Even though there were lots of other people eating in the restaurant at...
