The headline of the review sums everything up. The new owners have really turned this place around. Everyone at our table had a great time, the menu is varied, all the dishes we had were well presented and really tasty.

Although we have never stayed in the hotel, we can say that it is a lovely country pub that serves great food. A very warm welcome every time we pop in whether for food or just a drink, they even make a fuss of our little boy!

All sorts of minor touches add up to something that is much more than the sum of its parts. We're doing occasional history tours of the area and somehow will manage to make sure that this accommodation & food are included in the in the next trip.
