Stayed here during a weekend break (two nights) and thoroughly enjoyed it. We booked through an agency and didn't really read the terms and conditions regarding transfers (book directly and find out then if you need to). We got the train to the nearby town and spent the day there as check-in was at 4 pm, and then we got...

What a find this lovely B & B was, stayed here for one night before flying from Stansted on holiday - we decided that it would be altogether better for us to stay near the airport but there was no way I wanted to start my holiday in some clinical, soul-less airport hotel, after a bit searching we found George...

We stayed at the George Green Farm for one night as we were visiting some family in the area, the house is situated in the pretty little village of Little Hallingbury. Our room which was a triple was very nice indeed lovely decor and comfortable beds, tea and coffee making facilities were also provided, one thing I must mention though...

I stayed at George Green Farm the night before my wedding at a nearby venue. It was the perfect size for me and my bridesmaids and it had plenty of space for us to get ready in. Even better, it has animals at the back – a pony, some chickens and a pet kitten and dog which kept my flower...

A charming little B & B and worth the £45 we paid without breakfast as we really only wanted somewhere to lay our heads for the night before moving on next day. However my wife still hasn't forgiven me for not noticing that not all rooms are en suite, you need to check room details to be aware of this....

We stayed here overnight before a trip to Marseille. As we live in the Midlands travelling down to the airport on the day of travel is fraught with anxiety for me. The best solution we have ever found is George Green Farm. The rooms are lovely, comfortable with ensuite facilities, flat screen TVs, tea and coffee makers etc. Breakfast was...

We spent one night here as a stop off half way between home and the South East Airshow. Room was lovely. Hosts Doug and Marie were very helpful and friendly without being over intrusive as can happen when staying in people's homes. Breakfast was unusual. Home made Muesli and other cereals, croissants, scones and eggs from the chickens. We had...

We only stayed one night as we where on a car stunt day at a near by airfield, but would have loved to stay longer. The rooms are lovely, the breakfast was delicious and the hosts Doug and Marie where lovely. Doug gave us a guided tour of the place when we arrived telling us the history and showing us...

The rooms are so lovely and comfy- we loved it and next time we are in Essex we will definitely stay again. The themed rooms are so different and fitting for the period...

We spent one night B & B there and left car one week whilst flying from Stanstead Airport for £80. A beautiful old farmhouse, nicely furnished, with wonderful accommodating friendly owners. The bedroom was spacious, quiet, and very comfortable. A splendid evening meal was had in the pub next door and a lovely breakfast the following morning at the farm....

“We booked a room with en-suite as that was recommended by another traveller here on tripadvisor. Not sure what the difference is in price but if you want the extra bit of privacy, make sure to book that. Book directly to avoid confusion regarding breakfast/transfers/check-in.”
