Stayed at the Gables Guest House for three nights this week. All I can say is if all Guest houses were like this one, I'd never bother with a Hotel booking again! 13th Century, four poster bed, with a small but stylish shower/toilet en' suite. Relaxing residents lounge -oh, did I mention the fab breakfasts ? It was our first...

Superb Guest house in centre of the picturesque village. Brilliant host David who was very pleasant. Fabulous breakfast with everything you could wish for. We were in the converted stable block at the rear of the property next to the beautiful gardens and our room had a lovely four poster bed. Loved many of the features in the main house...

Room 5, four poster bed, ensuite. Beautiful gardens, great breakfast, lovely greeting, offered to help with our bags. Floors and therefore furniture/bed were not level due to age of property, you might find this quaint or annoying depending on your outlook. Shower cabinet v small indeed, some tiles in bathroom dusty, some bedroom furniture eg sink unit v dated (as...

We stayed here for 2 nights in June 2016. After explaining our situation on booking, we are a couple travelling with our 18 month old daughter, David (the proprietor) suggested we book the small separate room in the coach house along with the larger double. This worked perfectly, as we were then able to put the baby to bed and...

Whilst the room and breakfast were OK we were very disappointed by the attitude of the owner. We had booked for three nights over New Year with two lots of friends. 3 days before arriving one couple had flu and couldn't go but the owner insisted they pay for their whole stay. My wife and I also had to leave...

I cannot say enough good things about our stay at The Gables. On a family visit from USA, we were welcomed at the door by our host David. The room was perfect, the English breakfast outstanding and we felt really at home. David educated us with history of the area and could not do enough to make our stay memorable....

Could not recommend this fabulous guest house enough. The quaint Tudor house is packed with chintzy charm, from sloping ceilings and beams to the regal four poster beds. Such a refreshing change from all the clinical 'luxury' hotels I stay at for work- this place has such a welcoming, warm vibe and the owner David and his wife couldn't have...

After choosing Weobley as a nice quiet place to do some reading, strolling, and unwinding after a busy literary conference, I carefully researched the accommodations options. There were several appealing choices, but I narrowed it down to The Gables (a close call) -- and was glad I did. The host, David, was welcoming and eager to discuss the history not...

My husband & I stayed at The Gables on October 28th. in order to attend the Institution of the new vicar, The Revd Sean Semple. The comfortable rooms are well appointed. Four poster beds being 'the norm'. Chintzy decoration and loads of little 'artifacts', books etc adorn the walls and bookshelves. Breakfast, although only served from 8.30-9am was delicious! Mine...
