You have to walk almost out of Cowes to the west to find this place but it's worth it. A lovely old pub with friendly staff and decent food at reasonable prices. Well kept beer and a busy atmosphere. If you're a rather overloud yachting type then you'll feel right at home but then this is Cowes

When you first put your head through the door of the union inn you might think it's a small bar. Don't be fooled, when you venture inside you enter a lovely bar with a large dining area. It's a lovely brightly lit pub that offers great food, and the staff are really helpful and nothing is to much trouble. The...

The Union Inn covers many bases......good beer, great food, friendly staff and dog friendly at the same time. We ate here as a family including our dog and the menu had something for everyone and the staff kindly gave us a bowl of water and a Bonio despite the dog not being in the best of moods at the time...!...

A party of 4, we visited on a Friday evening. The staff were friendly and helpful but the food took a very long time to emerge from the kitchen and it seemed they had underestimated the food orders likely. Definitely worth visiting for the really excellent pies and very good burgers.

We had a lovely stay at The Union Inn. Good food especially the 50% off food on Monday evening. The homemade Steak, Mushroom and Ale pie was massive and delicious! Will definitely be coming back. Our room at the top of the Inn was really lovely and clean.

We visited Cowes at its busiest expecting long queues and grumpy people. The Inn was busy but the staff were very friendly and helpful. Try the Moroccan lamb - mouthwatering and filling. We would have stayed longer but people were waiting for a table - it's a popular place! Next time we visit we will choose a quiet day and...

On Mondays they do 50% off food this is already win win but the food is really good! I had the chowder and really liked it. Place was busy and at times service was slow but ok, not a problem. Really enjoyed this lunch! Easy to get to and nice inside! Good beers too!

A short walk from the marina we found this pub, and it was 1/2 food Monday which was a bonus. One of the party had the fish pie and said it was excellent. I had the burger and it was very nice. Even on a non-half price day this pub would still be good value..

The Union is in a fantastically central location amongst the restuarants and shops of Cowes. Also very convenient for the ferry, clean and comfortable too. The staff were very helpful and I can vouch for how delicious the pancakes were for breakfast! Highly recommended.
