Lovely hotel at the top of the hill in East Cowes near Osbourne House. Mainly used for weddings and training courses it appears but also a great place for those visiting the island. Excellent food and service.

As locals, we booked a night away at Albert Cottage based upon local reputation and the fantastic photos on their website. Initially, we were impressed by the room and enjoyed an afternoon in the gardens followed by a good meal in the restaurant. However, upon returning to the room to sleep we realised just how uncomfortable the bed was; the...

We bought a package from the Price is Wight, which enabled us to enjoy an overnight stay at Albert Cottage, a three course evening meal, breakfast the next morning and a Murder Mystery investigation. There were approximately 80 people on tables of ten. The food was good especially as they were catering for so many people. Before we sat down...

Booked through the price is wight (89.00) for 2 course evening meal, bed and breakfast. What can I say? Excellent staff, brilliant food and wonderful room. We weren't sure what to expect for the price but to say we were pleasantly surprised is an understatement , can't recommend this place enough...we also took advantage of the afternoon tea and it...

Spent a night at Albert Cottage as part of my birthday treats. Was very disappointed with our room, it was nothing special and the bed, a very small double, proved to be very creaky and uncomfortable. The evening meal was good but didn't appreciate Isle of Wight Radio complete with adverts being played quite loudly as background music. Tea at...

We had a lovely stay here in the summer house. The summer house is soo unique and delightful it was a pleasure to relax here. It was so peaceful here we spotted red squirrels in the trees and a fox in the garden. The boys played football in the lovely big grounds whilst we sat under the trees and enjoyed...

We stayed in the Indian Summer house at the back of Albert Cottage as dog friendly accommodation on a visit to see family on the IOW. Overall the whole experience was very good. The Indian Summer house is a historic garden building which has been converted for overnight accommodation. That said the original building was built for a Queen and...

We stayed at the Albert Cottage Hotel and took the Bridal Suite. We'd just come from an absolutely wonderful place in the Cotswolds and, to be honest, this didn't compare. The hotel has an 'institutional' feel (the office is open for all to see into) and felt rather run down. The lounge was shut throughout our visit: 'out of order'....
