My husband and I started staying in a private chalet 13 years ago when the place was thriving. It had everything you could wish for and if the weather was good there would be no need to go off site at all. They had an excellent outdoor pool with a children's paddling pool, always difficult to get a sunbed as... More

Tough to review this one as the accommodation was very nice, great kitchen and living room, nice comfy beds and superb on site pool, gym, shop etc. BUT......no phone signal, no wi-fi...had to go up to the main facilities complex to get emails etc. Also, some undesirable types live on this site, homeless being housed, drug rehabs, DSS etc. This... Went with a member to use the indoor pool facilities. Polite and helpful receptionist. The changing rooms with toilets were all clean and welcoming - very posh. The pool was lovely and warm and quiet which was a real bonus. Definately be going back.

Good to use as a base to explore the Island! The pool and gym were great the ladies changing rooms were immaculate with under floor heating and even a TV! Used the small bar and had a snack in the restaurant. Some areas of the park could do with updating but suited our requirements perfectly

We came here on a Sun Holidays promotion so obviously didn't pay very much and since this was our first 'cheapo' trip and being a little apprehensive not knowing what to expect as this was not a well-known company to us, we were pleasantly surprised. Our log cabin was spacious with 2 bedrooms and a large living space, ideal for... More

My mum booked two chalets for my hen weekend and it was perfect for what we needed we were a bit nervous at first because it does look run down and could definately benefit from having some money spent but where we were was private and we could have a giggle without upsetting anyone. The chalets were a good size... More

When I first arrived I thought it was a joke. It looked like it hadn't been touched since the 70s. Rusty gates, overgrown and covered in cobwebs. The 'reception' was a cold room made from left over bits of UPVC. The chalets are run-down, dirty, damp and some seem beyond repair. I didn't feel it was a safe environment for... More

We had four lodges and have to say it was nice! The lodges are in need of a make over to be brought to the 21st century. The outside woods need to be vanished as the lodges look nice but needs to be brighten! Inside carpets needs to be changed new TV, wifi, bug free and toilets and walls to... More

On arrival on a Monday at 5pm, we was greeted by a lady who told us she was maintenance and she gave us our keys, the same lady said any problems call the mobile number as I am on-call, fab we thought and made our way to our Rustic Lodge 417. Well, I guess we all have different standards of... More

The lodge was spacious, it was very basic (and only just acceptably clean), but considering what we paid for it, we were not expecting any different. The swimming pool is lovely, and the soft play is an extra added bonus too. We had breakfast at the restaurant the last morning and it was extremely average. The staff were friendly and... More
