Advertised as a standard double room with bathroom ... now in my experience that usually comes with a toilet ... elderly pair were put in the attic room .. stairs to climb musty smelling room damp.. no loo in the bathroom.. reception wanted an extra 10 pounds per night for the use of a loo .. a whole 30 pound...

Thank you for your review, You are quite correct in saying that if you book a double room with bath this would come with a full en suite and toilet. The room you booked was a standard double room with shared bathroom facilities ( not en suite) please refer to your accommodation confirmation and the booking.com website where the description...

Had a lovely time staying in the garden room which was ideal for my mum, sister and myself. just like a little self contained flat, all amenities you could need. Spotlessly clean, fresh towels everyday. Breakfast was all you wanted, good variety. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Nice lounge area too. central for travelling to the rest of the island....

We stayed for 3 nights and the rooms were clean and spacious, although the bathroom was very cramped. The lounge and dining room were very clean a nice area to relax. It is in a great location and only a short walk to the Esplanade and a local bus stop nearby too. The staff were very polite and helpful. The...

I stayed at Dorset Hotel for 3 nights in August. I had a room with a single bed as I was travelling alone and the room was big enough for me. The hotel is a bit dated, but everything is in order and it is spotlessly clean. There is Wi-Fi at the hotel, but it is a bit slow, and...

Well-located a short walk from Ryde Esplanade. Well-appointed and spacious lounge and breakfast room. Breakfast itself was of a good standard. Owners/staff were friendly and helpful. Room was okay, no-frills as expected for the price, with a particularly cramped en-suite shower/toilet room, but acceptable at 60.00 a night. Would recommend for an economically-minded stay in Ryde.

This was a return visit for my daughter and I after staying at the B & B last year. We cannot understand any negative reviews this B & B receives. Once again we found the staff to be extremely helpful and polite, nothing is too much trouble. The room we had was a twin room which was lovely and clean...

After I booked this b&b I saw negative reviews and nearly cancelled. I am very pleased that I didn't. I would recommend this b&b, the staff very helpful and friendly , the room was clean and there was plenty of choice for breakfast. This is a 3* b&b not a hotel so don't expect something that it isn't and you...
