We have stayed in a number of Landmark Trust properties in the past and Whitfield Farm is nothing close to those in terms of character or quality. On day 2 our dishwasher broke down. The landlady did visit (the next day) to have a look at it with her son, but no repairs were carried out and we were left...

We stayed in the annex, so the building to the foreground of the kitchen. There is no noise insulation from the original building, and we could follow entire conversations, especially from the bedroom above their kitchen. We could also smell there bacon and all cooking they did! Downstairs this is less of an issue as we could close doors to...

I stayed here with 14 others last weekend to celebrate a friend's birthday. We had a wonderful time in this large and beautiful country house. There was plenty of space for all of us to sleep (with Diana letting us make use of a little out house with it's own kitchen and bathroom, just behind the main kitchen) and cook...

The house is amazing and very cozy- gave us a feeling of comfort, warmth and relaxation. We went there with friends, 8 adults and 5 kids and we all had a fantastic time! There is so much room in the house, kids absolutely love it! The facilities are very good, everything what you need in the kitchen. The old 'aga'-type...

This is a beautiful historical place to stay. Diana is an excellent, very helpful and informative hostess. The kitchen is very well set up for cooking a comprehensive meal. The sitting areas are lovely with a beautiful lawn and lake. The location is close to Biddenden and Tenterden with several interesting restaurants fairly close by.

Two couples stayed at the farm whilst visiting the area for a friends wedding. Diane (hostess) was wonderfully welcoming and accommodating given our late arrival time and did more than was required to ensure our stay was comfortable. She was able to offer information on local taxi firms and recommend local places for breakfast when leaving. Wonderful building built in...

I would recommend Whitfield Farm wholeheartedly to anyone interested in having a good base to explore Kent. You can reach Canterbury, Rye, Tunbridge Wells and London by car or train in less than 1 hour. Rooms were spotlessly clean and comfortable, facilities were excellent with nice touches and the house itself has a lot of character. Loved our bed linen,...

We stayed here for the weekend - the house itself is stunning and has been decorated and furnished beautifully by the owners. All of the furniture has clearly been sourced with care and there are lots of little decorative touches that add to the overall homeliness of atmosphere, without making it cluttered. Nice to have tea/coffee making facilities too in...
