We reserved the Buxton Inn for some friends and family who were attending our wedding this past August. But I would not recommend that you do the same. We entrusted them with the most important day of our lives and in return, they not only served us a scallop dish without scallops at the rehearsal dinner but also tried to...

We have tried to come to a reasonable accommodation for your situation. Despite our continued best efforts and discussions in good faith you have declined all attempts at compromise. Went here for a business lunch, ordered some Hummus, as an appetizer it was overly spicy and had certain spices that were not typical for hummus. It was grainy and not flavorful. Not good. Ordered a grilled Grouper sandwich, it was a meager portion, mostly bun, and was a bit on the fishy smell side, I had smell it a...

Buxton Inn & Granville is absolutely beautiful. Especially with the leaves changing. Really enjoyed learning the history of the Inn and listening to ghost stories from the staff. The food was good. Cheesecake and wine was amazing. We will definitely be back to stay overnight.

Poor customer service, mediocre food, room did not have basic amenities (like a luggage rack, phone, shower shelf), and worst continental breakfast I've ever eaten. Building where we stayed is on a busy street and all we heard was traffic all night. Expressed our dissatisfaction, left a day early due to issues, yet were charged for the full stay.

Mr./Mrs. Flowers - Your stay with us was over Halloween weekend. The evening you checked in was trick or treat night in Granville. Upon showing you to your room your wife commented that she thought the tricker treaters were going to be distributive. At that time we offered to move you to another room even to another building. The offer...

We spent a delightful evening at the Inn for a pre-Halloween event. Ghost tours are offered year round I understand, with reservations and many of the staff have seen the ghosts themselves. The orignal part of the Inn was built in 1812 and added to in the 1850's. The Inn now owns 6 hours around it to house guests for...

The Buxton Inn was truly a find on our first 2013 visit taking our daughter to College. The first thing I remember was that staff smiling, shaking my hand, and immediately connecting with me and my family. The very next trip, those staff members remembered me and again lead with a smile and a glad you are here welcome. Having...

Have stayed at the Buxton for years and have always enjoyed our time there. This was our first time staying since the renovations have been done. It looks beautiful. I was worried about the updates staying with the history of the inn but they did a great job. The new entry is so inviting. We live in Columbus and always...

My friend and I had lunch at the Buxton Inn in Granville today. What a pleasant experience! Our server, Brandon, was a delight. He was very conscientious and efficient. We dined in the newly beautifully renovated "Blue Room". We both had a delicious meal, and especially enjoyed the roasted red pepper soup with gouda cheese.

Noisy, small room with short bed. I am average height and did not fit in the bed. AC does not work well either. And, don't complain - they will blame you! I had planned an early time up, but if you can't sleep, it ruins your plans. I was angry to have to leave and see my trip ruined, so...

I made a reservation online and 10 days later I got a phone call from reservations telling me they made a mistake and sold me a room they didn't have. They offered to call the hotel chain up the road for me. No thanks, not into Hotel 8. I had already made plans for activities in that area that weekend...

Charles - While we respect that you would be upset by the error made with your reservation we do believe it is important that the record be made straight. Yes you made a reservation on a weekend where a room block had been in place since the summer of 2015. Due to a glitch in our hotel management system you...
