Located in the charming village of Granville, Ohio. The inn has been under new ownership and has been renovated. The restaurant was disappointing. Nothing truly innovated on the menu and prices were high. Service was slow and server not knowledgeable regarding beer options and prices.

This is an interesting place to visit. I stayed with a group of friends on a ghost tour so I was able to see three guestrooms, one was a little cottage. We had a ton of fun, a great dinner and the staff were very accommodating.

My wife and I chose the Buxton Inn over the very busy restaurant across the street, and are we glad we did. We arrived on a Friday at 6:30pm and were one of the first to be seated. We started with a glass of wine, I got the Merlot and my wife ordered the Riesling. For dinner I ordered the...

We stayed in Founders Hall adjacent to the historic Buxton Inn, but not part of the original historic Inn. It was very private, and we had a lovely view of flowers and fountains, still a work in progress, but a very beautiful courtyard to enjoy peace and quiet from main street activity. Our room was very clean and comfortable and...

Wonderful meal last Friday evening at the newly renovated Buxton Inn. Wonderful meal last Friday evening at the newly renovated Buxton Inn. Such a pleasure to also meet Jennifer, general manager, and her father, Robert, and learn a bit more about the history of the Buxton. It certainly remains in good hands! While in town for graduation at Denison University we were lucky enough to have had our name drawn for the room raffle at Buxton (they don't accept standard reservations for graduation as there are just too many people). This was my first time in Granville and I'm glad we were able to stay in the downtown area. This is a...

If you are into noisy, old accommodations this is the place for you! I read a nice review of The Buxton in The Columbus Dispatch and thought we'd give it a go...we usually stay at The Granville Inn (very nice renovation) and its my fault that i just assumed The Buxton had been entirely refurbished. NOT. There were zero spots...

The Buxton Inn is being consistently renovated by it's owners as they are clearly focused on this Inn being a big draw in Granville! We stayed in a two bedroom suite, the bathroom being off the second bedroom. These buildings are historical and have a great deal of character.

We were in Granville for the night and wanted to stay somewhere cute and not corporate, and the Buxton Inn seemed to fit the bill. It is actually 3 or 4 separate buildings, and we stayed in the Ty Fy house. The room was spacious and sparely decorated with a TV and wine fridge. It was really cute and clean....

Your feedback regarding the hallway lighting is great feedback and we will look into seeing if we can improve that. We hope to you back at The Buxton Inn next time you visit Granville.

Four of us attended Easter Buxton Inn, Granville, Ohio. We each had different entrees, and all were beautifully prepared, as well as the desserts. All of the food was delicious. The visit was a very enjoy experience, and the recent renovations were outstandingly well done. The four of us plan to return for an evening meal very soon.
