A rare night away with partner and to celebrate my birthday. Found hotel eventually and checked in. Stayed in nicer three star rooms. Dressing table area with kettle was shabby and stained, stains down the wall as well. Cupboards have no doors on them and look tatty. Bed was supposed to be a king but felt like a double. Walls...

We chose this hotel as it's not far from Leeds Castle. We loved our family room - the Tenterden - as it had a barn door, little private terrace, windows on two sides overlooking countryside and was very quiet. Having two single beds in a separate room for the kids was ideal! We were also allowed to bring our dog...

we had a lovely meal here on Saturday for my dad's 70th. Service and food were brilliant and reasonably priced. we were unable to get a taxi back to our hotel (30 min away) and at 11pm, one of staff drove us back! how nice is that!! thats customer service right there. would recommend. :-)

We booked to stay over as we received a voucher for a three course meal. I have to say that the meal was absolutely fantastic, a really good Italian feast. I can't fault it and would go back again. But I wouldn't stay the night. We also stayed in Appledare, which is located in the oast. But the room is...

Very much out in the sticks, in a stunning English countryside setting. Very welcoming, with a small area for a drink and the restaurant. Italian music makes you feel like you are in Italy. Staff friendly. Food absolutely beautiful - had the cured beef for starter where the presentation was amazing, followed by the pork belly - cooked to perfection....

We stayed at Elvey Farm Friday and Saturday night with friends. The accomodation was very comfortable, clean and warm. The staff were lovely and couldn't be more helpful. The breakfast was excellent and I would stay here again for this alone. Watch out for the low overhead beams!

Looking for something different for my wedding anniversary and this seemed to tick all the boxes. A 15th century farm in the middle of nowhere, so great if you want a really peaceful weekend away. Staff were great, although not many of them and they all seem to do all of the jobs! We stayed in the Rochester room which...

Just here for dinner. A very typical old Kentish farmhouse with all the features you would expect of exposed oak beams, wooden doors, Kent peg tiles etc. Dining room is a lovely room and with plenty of space between the tables. Pleasant to have a drink in the bar beforehand before going through to eat. Menu is Italian and food...
