Probably classify this as "pub food plus". It is a pub restaurant with restaurant prices. The food was very good and the service very pleasant and attentive. We were pleased to have chosen this place for a quiet family celebration evening. For a family of 5 we paid the thick end of £150. Personally I was slightly disappointed with the...

Meal was ok except for roast potatoes, they were naff. I love a roast and great roasties are a must. They were like just slightly roasted boiled potatoes - sent them back and reckon they put them in fryer for a few minutes. Other veg & lamb was lovely. Excuse made about seasonal potatoes-er? Don't think so. Let the whole...

Had lunch with relatives on a beautiful sunny day. The outside seating area was absolutely gorgeous. Someone is a great gardener. However we went inside to eat for comfort and all had a thoroughly good meal, having various seafood specials.

Due to the horrendous traffic problems in the Dover area we arrived later than expected on the Friday night for our 2 night stay. We arrived at 11-30pm and Richard the proprietor kindly waited for us to arrive. A family run B&B pub style hotel. All the staff work hard to make sure everyone is happy. Charming beer garden with...

We were attending a wedding at molland house and needed 4 bedrooms for the night. The wedding was due to start at 12.15 and we were very lucky that the previous occupants had left early and we were able to access our rooms around 11.15. Everyone was really helpful and we got to the venue with time to spare. We...

Perfect place for a decent nights sleep, beautiful building full of as much charm as the pretty town it's located in. I had a double room (just me), welcomed by a very helpful and friendly chap called Jason. Nothing was too much trouble and would definitely stay here again. The only tiny concern would be the double room I was...

Booked at short notice. Good price for twin room plus breakfast. Room clean and bright. Small for a twin room. Rooms accessed via narrow corridor. Not suitable for those with walking difficulties. Rooms well equipped. Toilet and shower room small but clean and in good order. Restaurant offers great food but booking needed as it is busy even mid-week. Cooked...

Entered a bike ride in Sandwich as part of the towns Le Tour weekend , so needed some where to stay. What a find the Kings Arms was. Booking simple, welcome professional and friendly with hotel decor and rooms just the right side of quirky. Food was very good. All local produce and presented really well. Portion size was fine....
