Stayed for one night only. The premises are old, listed and quaint. This is not a modern swish hotel, so embrace this lovely Inn with an open heart. We had room 3. It is small but perfectly formed! Clean and bright and was fine for our needs. Bathroom small but had a good-sized shower cubicle with a good pressure and...

We stayed here overnight on a Saturday for a party in Tenterden. Which was ideal for centre of Tenterden. Clean comfortable accommodation with all amenities. Lovely modern en suite. Very friendly staff with freshly cooked breakfast to order, along with fresh fruit and cereals.

We've visited this pub many times in the past but this was the first time we've stayed there. It was a good decision, the room was clean, comfortable bed, and very good en-suite. The staff were very friendly and helpful and served up a very enjoyable breakfast. Given the area it was good value for money and we will definitely...

We met friends half-way and Tenterden was a good place to meet. We hadn't been to the William Caxton before but due to Trip Advisor reviews we chose this pub. On a Thursday lunch-time it was very quiet, just us but they allowed dogs in, which was good. We chose from the menu with lunch-time offer being two meals for...

I stayed for 1 night whilst on business at the Kent and East Sussex Railway. Great location, friendly staff, lovely room, had evening meal in the bar and breakfast in the morning. Food quality excellent.

This was an excellent stopover for us between Sissinghurst and Dover. Very friendly landlady, good range of beers and wines and a perfectly good pub supper. A great breakfast and start t the next day. Thoroughly recommended

Visiting the Kent & East Sussex Railway for an evening Pullman dining experience, the William Caxton was convenient for an overnight stay. Friendly staff. However, the room was very small and tea & coffee making facilities limited. Breakfast was fine but somewhat uninspiring and we had to ask for several toast "refills" as each refill was only 1/2 a slice...

Good atmosphere when previously visited but blonde bar girls language was loud and laddish. Just spoiled a lunch with friends. Other staff efficient but only takes one to let the team down. Roast dinner excellent. Parking tricky. Good rear seating area.

Friendly staff made us feel very welcome. Lovely room like being home from home. Husband assured me breakfast was A1 but I stayed in bed as it was so comfy. Would defo visit again. We got back quite late as we'd been to a party but this was no problem as we had keys.

“The pub only has 3 rooms , 2 doubles with showers but the other one is a double with a shower and a whirl pool bath and although we did not stay in this one my daughter did , I had a look in the room and it was lovely and the bathroom was really big so I would recommend this one although our room was really lovely also.”
