We stayed here for two nights and found everything excellent, the room, although not huge & ensuit compact was spotlessly clean with tea & coffee making facilities. We were made very welcome by Denise & Barry who are absolutely charming and can't do enough plus cook an lovely breakfast, you pay extra for a full English but there was also an array of fruit, cereals, yogurts, croissants etc to suit all tastes. There is parking which is a definite plus. Whitstable sea front is about 15 minute walk with the main part of the high street a little less, so we were nicely out of the way without being too far. Highly recommended!

Denise and Barry made us so welcome as soon as we arrived. The whole place was spotlessly clean. We stayed in the Sea View room which has a king sized bed and ensuite with separate bath and shower and tea and coffee facilities. We elected to have a cooked breakfast in the kitchen. It was cooked and presented superbly and set us up for the day, Nothing was too much trouble - we can't recommend Whitstable Bay B&B highly enough and hope to return later in the year.

Denise and Barry made so welcome as soon as the door was answered and felt like long lost friends they are so lovely. The place was spotlessly clean. We booked the garden room and it was so quite and peaceful. The room was en-suite was very modern and had a great shower. The room itself was of an excellent size and had all the tea and coffee making facilities. It also had a double wardrobe 2 seater sofa. The bed was so comfortable had a great couple of nights sleep. Great continental breakfast in the morning to keep you going through the day . Took us 10 minutes to walk into town which is run down and has been subjected to a but of vandalism with a number of shops having their windows broken in, such a shame as it was a great place to visit with so many independent shops. Now like many so town has its fair share of charity shops. I can't recommend Whitstable Bay B&B highly enough

My wife and I stayed at Whitstable bay B&B in Joy Lane. We stayed for two nights so that we could attend a friends wedding at the West Quay.We arrived on Saturday and stayed in the Seaview Room which was perfect for us, the kingsize bed is very comfortable and we slept very well on both nights and despite it being a weekend it was very quiet. Our room was tastefully furnished, is good size, with plenty of space for us both to get ready for the wedding on the Sunday. The en-suite bathroom is fabulous, light, modern and spacious with a terrific, large, walk-in shower as well as a bath. On our first morning we had a full English breakfast served in our room and this was absolutely fantastic, probably the best I have ever had in a B&B, served on a trolley with not only the superbly cooked and presented delicious hot dishes with all the trimmings but also a full complement of continental style offerings including warm croissants, a selection of jams and spreads, a wonderful presentation of deliciously prepared and laid out fresh fruits and of course tea, fresh coffee and natural fruit juice. On our second and last morning, we elected to have the complimentary "continental" breakfast served in the kitchen/breakfast room which looks out on the beautiful garden and this was simply delightful and equally impressive.Checking in was no problem and we were welcomed by our hosts who went to great effort to ensure we were happy and comfortable and that we had everything we needed. Our hosts were wonderful, a delightfully friendly and professional couple, available, on hand and eager to provide cheerful assistance while still observing our privacy and in no way overbearing by their visibility or presence. The location is perfect (for us at least). A lovely detached house with ample off-road parking on a quiet residential road and being just a five-minute drive (20-minute walk) to the town center. Nearly opposite the house is a public footpath which, in four minutes, will take you down to the beach at Whitstable Bay. From here you can stroll along the coastal path, past beach huts, and café, right through to Whitstable Quay, the town and beyond. This we did on our last day before we drove home, we had brunch in a nice little café near the town, just off the beach, and took our time wandering back along the coastal path to our car which our hosts were happy to let us leave parked at the B&B long after we had checked out.All in all, we can strongly recommend this B&B. It is a very high standard for a very reasonable cost with wonderful hosts who went out of their way to ensure we had a pleasant, comfortable, stress-free and memorable stay.
