We got married here and go back every year . Always greated with a warm welcome
. Stunning building. Very much a hidden gem of Burnley. Excellent value for money.

Following a fine lunch in Huddersfield (review will follow) we booked in blind at the Rosehill House. This was our first ever stay in, or visit to, Burnley and were amazed at what we found.

We stayed here for two nights whilst visiting the area, on the recommendation of two friends. A charming old property with stunning period ceilings, flooring and cornicing. Complimentary upgrade when checking in. Room 9 was very comfortable...including the 4 poster bed.

Yes, they do indeed - we have actuially stayed in it but had to ask for a change of room! It is situated immediately behind the bar, and, if, like me you are a light sleeper, the compressor droning away on the fridge (on the other side of the wall from the headboard) will keep you awake.
It is suitably adapted and very close to the reception, bar and restaurant. Rosehill House is a lovely hotel run by a very nice team, we have stayed there at least half a dozen times now - just take earplugs with you if you request this particular room!
