Stayed for one night as we were visiting Burnley for the football. Very good value for money. Hotel is quaint with lots of interesting nic-nacs on show. Room was comfortable although shower was not working -had we been staying longer I would have mentioned this but as there was a bath it didn't really matter. We chose to book a...

The hotel was in a good location just up from town. The evening meal we had was good as was breakfast. Our room was tired but comfortable. I would book again. This was listed as a boutique hotel, whatever that is!!

Stopped many times ...maybe 200 times or more....work colleagues from the continent on my recommendation as well. First class in every way, very helpfull, clean and usual north country warmth in dealing with quests....helped by good value for money....very lucky to have found it.

It is quite an old fashioned hotel but the public rooms were very comfortable. It was lovely to see some real pictures as décor instead of abstract and there were some very quirky features. The garden looked like it would be well sheltered but sadly the weather was not good enough to test it out. The lifesize scrooge on the...

We stayed at Rosehill for a friends wedding, it was nice building with quirky features. Room was nice and big, with a comfy bed, clean bathroom with a nice shower tea/coffee etc Staff were friendly. Enjoyed our stay

May not be everyone's cup of tea as some previous reviews may suggest. However, comfortable bed, good shower and peaceful night's sleep ticked all the boxes for me. I ate in the evening, the food was excellent quality for the price and I was equally happy with the well cooked breakfast in the morning

Okay. This is a difficult review to write. We stayed here for two nights. The reason I'm finding this hard is because the staff were all wonderful, friendly, helpful folk. However, the hotel, which must have been an amazing private house in its heyday is tired, in need of a duster, and needs updating. The hotel insists on calling itself...

Thoroughly enjoyed our brief stay here and would highly recommend it. Position is good, plenty of parking and good sized rooms. Top marks to all the staff who were friendly, efficient and helpful - something not always found in hotels these days. We ate in the restaurant one evening and the meal was to die for. Excellent quality, full of...

My husband and I stayed for one night at the family run hotel so we could attend a friends 40th birthday celebration. We really enjoyed our stay here. The hotel is beautiful and quirky with a fab atmosphere; the rooms, hallways and staircases feature various antiques and objects. Our room had a great view of the garden area and provided...

Thoroughly enjoyed our one night stay - will stay longer next time. We had a double bedroom on the top floor with a lounge leading to the bathroom. Lovely quiet room so excellent night's sleep. Good breakfast - next time we hope to have an evening meal. Excellent value. Thank you.
