Booked up on Friday to arrive Saturday. Rang the hotel to see if they had any rooms available and they advised they had 1 double left but was a disabled room which meat we would have a wet room rather than bath shower. We were also advised that they had a wedding and Olly Murs tribute night on so the...

Friend and I stayed here as the base arranged by Haunted Happenings on our Pendleton Witch weekend. Food was good, bedroom good we actually booked a twin room but on arrival we're given separate rooms. The bed was perfect for me nice sheets and comfy pillows. All in all a good base, did ask on the first night for a...

Dear bushbaby1, Glad you enjoyed your break with the Haunted Happenings group, I hope the late night trip to Pendle Hill and your observations in the Hotel throughout the night were eventful. Rooms are clean but are not well kept, one example would be a whole in the bathroom door created by a rather upset ex-client. The food is good but the menu is a one pager. The reason it stands out from the rest is the swimming pool which is also open to the public (for a fee) so can be...

Dear Claudiu M, I did go to the room yesterday to check on the bathroom door and I have spoken to the team regarding their observation levels, although it is difficult to notice when entering, once inside the room it is pretty evident someone has kicked the base of the door. A new door has been ordered, I shall try...

The spot-the-food meal was overpriced as were the drinks. Although - as a school reunion - the rooms were booked a year in advance, they were overlooking the noisy wedding reception area. Music stopped at midnight then the drunken guests continued with their noisy tirade. Although breakfast was good, we were all so tired after hardly any sleep.

Dear Carol T, We are disappointed to see you did not enjoy your recent visit for the school reunion, we normally take function noise into consideration when allocating rooms and this must have been an over site on our part. My wife and I stayed last night. My wife is a member of the gym and this was a complementary stay. Our room was lovely, large, modern and spotless. Check in was efficient and every member of staff we encountered pleasant and professional. We ate in the restaurant which was good with my only gripe being the price of drinks....

Stayed here in August for a family wedding. The wedding breakfast was lovely and the room where they held their reception was beautiful. I felt personally the staff could have been more organised and were able to tell the wedding guests where to go when we first arrived as it was abit confusing when we arrived. My husband did the...

We stayed with a coach tour and were very pleased. Every thing was excellent. The staff who served our table were efficient, pleasant and extremely helpful. The food was well presented and tasty. We stayed one night and it was very pleasant! The pool was a lovely addition and the building is very grand. The only downside was the bar and food prices, they seemed very expensive for the quantity/quality. If they were addressed then it would have made the trip even better.
