Really enjoyed our stay at Mitton Hall, room 115 very comfortable. Excellent evening meal, both chose fish - tuna loin to start, hake for main followed by a cheese platter to share all washed down with a bottle of Marlboro Sav Blanc. Good breakfast in the morning. Staff very friendly!

I booked this venue for my daughters 21st and I cannot rate them highly enough The room was very private leading on to a lawn area so we could sit outside after our meal. The weather was great so this added to the afternoon enjoyment. The meal was amazing we were a party of 10 and we choose from the...

I am vegetarian (but don't eat dairy) and wasn't looking forward to eating out at Mitton Hall due to the extremely limited vegatarian menu. I was however extremely happy when I learned I could order from the bar menu. I ordered tempura vegetables and the crispy tofu (which is described as vegetarian) and seasonal vegetables (without butter). I was really...

Four of us visited last week to celebrate a birthday and we had a great time. Afternoon tea itself was delightful....some interesting sweet things ( could have been better balanced with savouries) and excellent service. The location is beautiful and the interior, full of wood panels, a minstrel gallery and a roaring fire, was very welcoming. Good value for money....

This is a really simple review to do , as the staff, organisation and the friendly nature of the place itself was absolutely first class . Genuinely not sure what else they could have done for us before or during our special day . Thanks to all at Mitton Hall for everything you did for us . I can't recommend...

Went for afternoon tea. The quality of food and service much improved. A wedding function did not derail either. Sandwiches of good quality and cakes likewise.we were certainly full and happy by the time we had finished

From the moment we booked our daughters wedding at Mitton Hall the staff so helpful, professional & efficient. Nothing was too much trouble. On the day of the wedding the staff ensured everything went smoothly and to plan. The beautiful dressing room was ready for our arrival for hair & make up and laid out beautifully for our breakfast. We were at a wedding in a neighbouring village and booked Mitton Hall by chance, and what a good choice it was! We have stayed in lots of country house hotels and without doubt this was the best by far. Stunning reception hallway. Amazing bar and decor throughout, we were upgraded to the King suite and what a room it...

A wonderful, luxurious Hotel, great food cooked to a high standard, well trained, professional, helpful, friendly staff who work hard and great grounds and extensive car park, a wonderful terrace for sitting outside in the sun, overlooking the river in the sunshine, I attended a wedding here some years ago, have dined many times and went for a drink last...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
A four star country house hotel providing luxury accommodation at the heart of the fabulous Ribble Valley. Our big idea for bringing this magnificent 15th Century manor house back to life was to take it back to its roots and make it feel like a home again. Somewhere that looks and feels like it belongs to somebody. Stunning interior design and decoration perfectly complement the ancient architectural features to create a contemporary country house hotel. Both effortlessly beautiful and unashamedly romantic. The ambience is quite unique. It is certainly luxurious and feels exclusive but the luxury and exclusivity are open to all. From a relaxing morning coffee or afternoon tea, to lunch or dinner and for everything in between. ... more   less
