Historically fascinating and beautiful. Afterwich dire depressing and like something out of faulty towers. If you like luxury don't stay. Staff ask for feedback but hate it when you give it. Whalley is a gorgeous place so is the abbey which is haunting and beautiful....More

I would have awarded five stars here but the information boards have been weathered to such an extend they are impossible to read. Shame, because it really is a great setting. The gateway starts it off and the remains are superb.
