This location had good Covid controls in place and the room was very clean and comfortable. If you intend eating in the adjoining Hungry Horse on a Saturday evening it is advisable to book in advance as it gets very busy with the reduced seating.

Arrived early for an overnighter, as we were off playing golf, asked if any chance of checking in just so we could drop our luggage off, the young lady on the desk said give me half an hour i will see what i can do, She did the business which allowed us to drop and go. room very much like any other Premier inn. the room is a little tired with stained carpets, bathroom clean. the room heating does not work in 30, i set it before going out and looked again on my return at 10.00 because it was genuinely cold, I gave up at 5.30AM and went home.

Not up to usual Premier inn standard, the whole hotel is tired and in need of renovation. The rooms where poor, tiny tv and old units. Bathroom had a tiny bath and old style shower head which was not height adjustable and fitted too low for my family. I wouldn't recommend this premier inn unfortunately

Room was old and tired. Bed was uncomfortable and I am pretty sure it was a double and not the normal premier inn hypnosis bed. Sound proofing is terrible being an older hotel. There was a damp musty smell around the room however this may have been something to do with the COVID cleaning measures. COVID controls in the hotel were good. Breakfast was a real disappointment, asked for a pastry which took 25 minutes to come and was fresh from the microwave and not properly cooked. It was inedible. Cooked breakfast was okay. Staff were not wearing any masks and were not doing a good job at social distancing which made me feel uneasy.
