I recently stayed at this travelodge which was a last minute choice as I'd been on business in York. There was several people waiting to checkin and the receptionist was under pressure. I must say she was extremley proffessional and patient. My room was immaculate and a was really happy to see a bath instead of a shower. I later...

We stayed at this hotel because the location sounded close to both York races & the city centre. This was the case, however, because the location was on a very busy dual carriageway, that could not be crossed, the taxi from the city back to the hotel cost over £25 as the taxi had to go passed the hotel to...

Travelodge have clearly improved a lot of their hotels and this one was up to par with Premier Inn. For £57 for the night, I think it represented good value for money. I'm not a particularly fussy person, I don't expect all the mod-cons, just a clean and modern room which is what I got so I was very happy...

Location was good. Though when travelling bk to hotel from York (reason for visit) there's no right turn off the dual carriageway. Meaning travelling out of our way to come bk. No biggy but a little irritating. Especially for sat nav. Staff were friendly enough. And was good value for money. Room was comfortable but very little room for storing...

Stayed here twice. If your room faces the wheat field you are in for a quiet night. I love the beds-large and comfortable. Eateries within 30m with an Indian restaurant and Buckles Inn a short drive. 10 mins by car to centre of York. Awkward access when travelling West on the A64

My husband and I stayed in York along with another couple. We always find Travelodge is good value, clean, and comfortable. We found the Travelodge York Tadcaster Hotel to be as we expected. This one was a little dated, but was clean and comfortable. There was ample parking and a Little Chef/Burger King next door. No breakfast came with the...

We always stay here when visiting York and find it perfect with clean rooms, plenty of parking and a cafe just across the car park where you can fetch breakfast to eat in your room or eat in. The park and ride bus is just this side of Tadcaster and saves on car parking which is very expensive in York.
