This is the second time we have used the Station house for our Pre Crimbo weekend, first time it was great, second time it was even better. The Crimbo Decs were great, we took our own and didn't need them, our tree stayed in the car. The house is in a perfect place within crawling distance of the Pubs and...

What a great place. We have just returned from a midweek winter break and we had a cracking time. The accommodation is everything you would want for a break. Ideally situated over the road from the village centre and the cottage facilities were first class. Two lovely en-suite bedrooms on the ground floor, ideal if you have problems with stairs,...

This was our second visit and did not disappoint. We can thoroughly recommend this B&B for the quality of its rooms, the friendliness of hosts Linda and Kevin, and their wonderful breakfasts. The location is convenient for the town centre but sufficiently away from any street noise.

Very friendly guest house, clean and comfy. Breakfast good quality - though you do share a table with the other guests. Ample parking also. Would recommend for a trip to Hawes.

My Husband and myself stayed here for two nights late June, location is spot on and the room was great and spotless. I have trouble sleeping, when I mentioned this a loverly comfortable arm chair was brought in for when I awoke during the night, it was so thoughtful. The breakfast was great, and you did not go away hungry....

We stayed with Linda and Kevin for 2 nights, whilst at our friends' wedding at Simonstone Hall. Not only did they look after us with their hospitality, they also gave us a lift to pick up our car from the reception the day after. We particularly enjoyed our breakfast, freshly prepared by Linda who sings along to the radio as...

We visited Hawes on our Coast to Coast/Dales Way hiking trip with an overnight stay in the pleasant town of Hawes. The Old Station House B & B upstairs room was called the Station Masters Room and was pleasant, spacious, light and airy, clean with good quality linen, the room not too cluttered, with some old photos of Hawes Railway...

We spent 3 nights here recently and cannot fault anything about it. The welcome and service were wonderful with an excellent breakfast each day. The room was large with plenty of storage. The bathroom was lovely and there were enough toiletries provided that we need not have taken any with us. There was also plenty of room to put our...

First of all, I was booked in for a night without having to pay for a deposit when the lady owner found out that my wife and I are foreigners and we do not have any local bank account (for fund transfer) to secure the booking. Secondly, upon our late arrival Linda was worried about our dinner and quickly suggested...

This B&B is definately better than their own website would imply. The location is spot on, less than 5 mins walk to all the shops, restaurants and activites of Hawes, but tcked away with peace and birdsong in the grounds. The room we stayed in was fine, with extra quality toileteries provided along with the usual tea, coffee and fresh...
