You don't need to read the reviews just book and go!! You will enjoy the fantastic views, great warmth from the hosts Carol and Keith and top quality accommodation. Lovely house is steps away from the centre of Hawes (there is a shortcut from the garden direct into the centre of the town) yet the location is completely tranquil. Each...

Another great weekend at Carol & Keith's. Immaculate rooms which are spotlessly clean and an excellent breakfast, black pudding is now on the menu! The centre of Hawes is just a short walk via some stone steps. The local eateries are very busy at the weekend so it's best to book in advance. We'll be back...

This was the first stay in Hawes for my wife Kath and I. Loxley House was everything you could ask for in a B&B, with it's owners, Carol and Keith, very friendly and helpful. The setting is perfect with ample parking available and excellent rooms. Breakfast was extremely good, too. Hawes is a lovely town set in the midst of...

This was our first visit to Loxley House but I hope it won't be the last. We received a warm friendly welcome from Keith and Carol, our room was spotless, spacious, with a large ensuite. Keith and Carol thought of everything; there was fresh milk each day in our room, in a flask, biscuits and chocolates, excellent heating (we were...

Visited Loxley House 2 years ago and enjoyed it so much we paid a return visit in September. We stayed in room 4 this time ( room 1 last visit ) and we were very impressed with the room, lovely views out of the french doors towards the Buttertubs pass. The room itself was spacious and well appointed, fresh milk...

All the good things have already been said about Loxley many times on reviews. We love the Hawes area, Hawes has such a buzz yet is set in the most tranquil and beautiful area. So what can we add to the reviews - well we have just returned from our 4th stay - do we need to say anymore ?

We have visited Hawes many times before but this is the first time in b & b accommodation and what a pleasant time we had. Friendly greeting from both Kevin and Carol on arrival and we were shown to a beautiful room with spacious en-suite. Breakfast is tasty made all the more pleasurable with lovely views over Stag's Fell from...

I don't think we have ever stayed anywhere with such amazing views. We had a garden room with French doors to the garden. It was spotless and lovely toiletries were provided too. Keith and Carol the owners were very helpful with tips on where to eat, visit, etc. and their breakfasts were scrummy. Hawes itself is a lovely place to...
