Had such a lovely 2 night stay here. Ingrid and Alison are so friendly, helpful and welcoming. Fantastic location, 2 min walk to Mother Shipton's Cave. Beautiful walk along river to pubs, cafes and boat hire etc. About 15 min stroll into town (uphill) for town centre with everything. Badger Hill was such a quiet and relaxing place to stay....

We have recently returned from our second visit to Badger Hill (Knaresborough) and we cannot praise this accommadation to highly, it is clean, comfortable and peaceful. Perfect for a short stay or long stay (and so handy to to get to the likes of York, Ripon and other areas) wether it be Summer or Winter. The co-managers Ingrid & Alison go...

We rented the farmhouse and a couple of the cottages for a family celebration as it was roughly a central location for family from both ends of the country. The booking could not have been easier, indeed the ladies were very accommodating as the number in our party was not finalised until the last minute. Delightful location, all the amenities...

Booked Rose Cottage for a three night stay with out granddaughter. From initial booking to departure the process could not have been smoother or friendlier. Prior to arriving I recieved a phone call from reception to ascertain my time of arrival in order to ensure that someone would be available. The cottage itself was perfect for our needs with two...

We rented the farmhouse at Badger Hill for 2 nights. The reason for our stay in Knaresborough was a very sad one which made the choice of accommodation all the more important to us. Each bedroom has its own en suite. There were 2 lounges which we didn't really use as we spent most of our time in the large...

Rose Cottage is a beautiful holiday home on a very attractive brow of a gentle hill overlooking perfectly picturesque Knaresborough and its charmingly memorable river. The service provided by Ingrid and Alison is second-to-none, typified by the very warmest of welcomes, exceptional cleanliness, very thorough attention to all details, frequent complimentary towel and mat changes, and a whole host of...

Fantastic facilities and superb service. Alison and Ingrid have been absolutely marvellous in making us always very welcome and thoroughly catering for all of our needs as guests. We have stayed as a family here many times and we have always been highly delighted. Excellent interiors and plenty of parking and very secure site. Cannot wait to stay again... indeed...

Previous reviews had prepared us and we were not disappointed. Ingrid was so friendly and helpful. We only met Alison on checking out, which was a shame as another lovely lady. The accomodation was spot on for our cycling holiday. A security barrier gave peace of mind and cameras on site gave us the assurance our bikes were safe locked...

Just got back from a stay in Daisy cottage, perfect for 2 and plenty of room. Very well laid out with everything you need(including free WiFi). Knaresborough is a great place to be based, has everything plus many pubs and they all do real ale. Bus stop right outside, you get to Harrogate in about 15 mins. Would recommend staying...

Stayed at Badger Hill with friends for a wedding and had a cracking time. Thoroughly great cottages and the staff and owner are brilliant. Excellent location very close to town centre and would stay there again in a shot.
