This is a very welcoming, warm and comfortable B&B, immaculately furnished. Mike was an excellent and helpful host. On a beautiful riverside setting and only a short walk to all town amenities- but do study in advance how to reach Teardrop by car (I think coming along Waterside from the north).

A great little B&B in a really lovely location looking up at the Knaresborough viaduct. The room was beautifully furnished, with lots of attention to detail and little treats :-) Mike was very helpful and attentive, with nothing being too much trouble. A fantastic place to stay!

Stayed here for one night . Booked way in advance and recd confirmation and directions which are necessary for locating. The cottage is right by the viaduct . Lovely location and a steep walk into town. We paid 145 for a room described as large and luxury. It was an average size and we believe other rooms are small. The... More

Dear Ruth...thank you for your feedback. In responce...We feel the luxury King size room is fairly priced in line with other local hotels..normally £135..the slightly higher rate takes into account a single night weekend stay..and offers en suit facilities, private courtyard garden, shared river view roof terrace and spectacular location..the room provides everything you may need including wine, chocolates, fresh flowers, bath robes, sony blue tooth... Stayed with my wife for a night last week under the Viaduct which looked awesome lit up in the evening.. Can't fault the place. We were the only guests that night and had the 'run' of the cottage. We stayed in the Pink room. Clean & warm with a upstairs sun terrace. The only issue was the wet room as... More

We stayed in the Chocolate room, the room is on the small side but more than adequate, it has a lovely view down the viaduct and the river. The hospitality tray in the room was lovely, fresh biscuits and kitkats every day. The private bathroom was separate and huge, one of the best showers we have had. It's very clean... More
