Pauline is such a warm, welcoming hostess. She totally lived up the the rave reviews we had already read on TripAdvisor. Traveled to the area with a friend to celebrate our "Ho" Birthdays and were not disappointed by the friendly reception we received. Pauline even delivered and collected us from the local pub/restaurant on the Saturday night to enable us... More

Came upon Pauline's house whilst trying to find somewhere last minute at the end of a week long road trip. It was getting dark. We saw a turning with a sign and were lucky there had been a cancellation. A truly beautiful, traditional house. I'm afraid these online photos really don't do it justice. The bed was really comfortable, with... More

I stayed at Pauline's lovely home for 3 nights a couple of weeks ago and totally enjoyed the whole experience. I would normally stay in hotels for the convenience of evening meal. but the pub up the road is great and a pleasant 5 minute walk. A beautiful room, fantastic views, delicious breakfast and great conversation, who could ask for... More

As someone who normally books a hotel rather than a b&b, I have to say this lovely property, which one shares with owner Pauline when staying, was a revelation. Tastefully carved up between private areas for the owner and 3 bedrooms with a lounge and breakfast room and lovely gardens. We took all 3 rooms for a wedding nearby for... More

My Dear P.O.Preston, life has some wonderful surprises for us. Following the miserable, malicious diatribe from 'Disabled 58' I was rewarded with my next guests being the most delightful family who had read the offending report and fortunately didn't believe a word of it. They spent the weekend with me attending a family wedding, the sun shone and a great time... More

We stayed here for 2 nights whilst attending a wedding at Goldsborough Hall. Pauline couldn't have been more accommodating and lovely. The beds are so comfortable and the rooms are really spacious. Thank you Pauline, it really was beautiful. Lizzie xx

Stayed here for two nights with a friend whilst visiting Brahmam horse trials. Excellent value for money. Pauline was welcoming , friendly and helpful whilst not being intrusive or overbearing. Beautiful gardens, superb home cooked breakfast, comfy bed and good WiFi connection. Would recommend without reservation.

An unexpected but very welcome little gem. A truly delightful house, with everything required for an enjoyable stay. We were made to feel very welcome and our dog was too. The breakfast was truly fantastic. Set on a very quiet country lane, you are assured of a great nights sleep. Highly recommended!

Lovely property in a beautiful quiet village just yards from the main Harrogate to York road. Very warm welcome from Pauline. Good comfortable bed, lovely breakfast. Every space full of ornaments and nicknacks which made you feel like you were staying with granny or older auntie. No lock on bedroom door though and the room would have benefited from thicker...
