A fantastic find, set up above Northallerton in beautifully developed barns. Our 'barn' had 4 bedrooms, a superb lounge and large kitchen with everything supplied to help your stay to be relaxing and uncomplicated. The rooms and decor were of the highest of specification. My only comment was that one of the rooms was disabled friendly and contained an excellent wet... More

Dear Annie and family, Thank you so so much for your kind words, we appreciate you taking the time to write this review and cannot thank you enough for your kind comments. Staying in Millington House 8 ladies enjoyed a wonderful birthday celebration. The house is of a very high standard and the views are amazing. All your needs are catered for and the birthday balloon, cake, wine and lots more were a lovely touch from the owners. We were very impressed and would certainly recommend it to others.

We have just returned from a stay in Swift Nick with our infant daughter and the in-laws. A fabulous stay and the cottage layout is perfect for 2 couples who want to maintain some privacy, as the bedrooms and bathrooms are either side of the living space. The kitchen was beautiful and spacious, the living area was lovely and light,... More

Just had the most amazing couple of nights at thief hole. What a superb set up. Beautiful cottages! The accommodation was superb. We where given a lovely welcome hamper on arrival. The rooms where spotlessly clean and well presented. Would definitely recommend a visit and we'll certainly return ourselves.

Having not visited Yorkshire for many years I wanted my South African partner to see for himself 'Gods Country'. Thief Hole cottages are perfectly placed to travel around the county from. The facilities at the cottage are above & beyond, every little detail has been carefully thought about & implemented by the owners - a true 5* experience.

A rather late review, apologies, but couldn't let the opportunity pass me by to say how much we enjoyed our stay at Thief Hole cottages in Turpin Cottage.
