A lovely guest house, beautifully appointed rooms, and charming hosts. Probably the best guest house we have ever stayed at. Comfortable beds and excellent breakfasts, we thoroughly recommend the Craster kippers, prepared to perfection. The house is in a quiet suburb a short 10 minute stroll into Alnwick centre. We will definitely return in future. A&S from York.

West Acre House is the place to stay in Alnwick. The most charming hosts, a beautiful period house, superb breakfasts, comfy beds. What more can you need? We have stayed here a number of times, and it is noticeable how many repeat guests Jeanette and Bruce entertain.

This was our second stay at West Acre House. After a warm welcome we were shown to our beautifully appointed bedroom. There was everything we needed for our stay including a hospitality tray of tea/coffee/hot chocolate, biscuits and sweets. The bathroom had toileteries for guests who may have forgotten to pack an essential item - very thoughtful! The bed was...
