My husband and I have just returned from a fantastic four night stay at Oronsay House which is without a doubt the best Bed & Breakfast we have stayed at in this country. The house is renovated to the highest standard, our room was homely with plenty of storage space and the bed was just so comfortable we both slept... More

We are a couple and have stayed in various B&B's over the years and we don't do reviews normally, but this time we have to put on record this is really a first class B&B. Recently refurbed to a very good standard and remains immaculate throughout. Breakfasts are superb, good choice and well cooked. Our hosts Christine and Charles were... More

Stayed for a week at Oronsay. The rooms have been fitted out to the best specification for guests and it was great to have a shower without that hot/cold/hot/cold sensation! Everywhere is fantastically clean and the breakfasts are great. A very warm welcome from Charles and Christine, who do everything they can to make your visit to the area a... More

Booked two nights some time ago to accommodate our attendance at a wedding at Alwnick Castle. It could not have worked out better for us. There are some really good reviews below and I do not intend to repeat what others have said. Suffice to say that Charles and Christine delivered efficient quality throughout our stay. Immaculate! Many thanks.

We had a five day stay in this excellent guest house which is placed in the centre of Alnwick and makes an excellent base for sight seeing in Northumberland. The host and hostess, Charles and Christine, are very welcoming and informative, the rooms are spotless and the breakfast is excellent. Although it is on the main road into the town,... More
