Love this, if you like fantastic hospitality, quirky, fun, comfortable and great breakfast you can't beat this B&B. This is my fifth visit to Alnwick Lodge and it's because every time I try to find somewhere different to stay in the area, I can't see anywhere that I would prefer to be and the price is very good too. Evelyn...

A big thank you to Evelyn and her team for giving my son and new daughter in law a wedding venue to remember. Quirky is the most appropriate word to describe Alnwick Lodge. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and made us feel like nothing was too much trouble. As a wedding party we took over Alnwick Lodge which...

You will get a very friendly and warm welcome here. I was greeted by a roaring fire which was also lit in the morning. The rooms are very individual and prettily done and situated around a courtyard. Despite being rght next to the A 1 there was no road noise. Breakfast is ample andin the converted stables. Very good if...

The accommodation was lovely and clean and warm. The host were amazing and the overall feel of the place was nice. Breakfast was good. The only negative point was the position - the hotel is found right off the A1 so you really need a car to get there and you can't walk into town - apart from that it...

Having read other reviews not a lot to add. this is a Elizabethan style lodge which has incredible potential as it is a massive property with ample grounds but the lovely owners have a eccentric outlook which is very charming so you somehow get it. Full off memorabilia, Antiques, brick a brack it is a collectable/antique dealers cavern of joy....

Found this lodge by accident. But what a great welcome we were given. As we booked in the lady kindly made us a pot of tea and some biscuits. Our room was outstanding as was breakfast the next morning. The lodge is an old farm building kept in old style very well done also many antiques around. Extremely good value...

While our room was nice, when we arrived home from being out all evening the room was bitterly cold. The radiator was not on and when we switched it on no heat came from it. It was too late to contact anyone for assistance. We ended up having to sleep in our clothes to try to stay warm. Being so...
