I cannot thank Susie enough for all her help in surprising my Husband for a birthday weekend away. We had the top floor to ourselves, the kids loved their room and didn't want to leave. Our room Alnwick was bright and airy with a few sparkles to celebrate. Fresh milk in the fridge. Breakfast was amazing and set us up... More

Glororum Farmhouse is a picturesque home a short walk from Bamburgh and its marvellous castle. Susie and Graham's attention to detail is superb. We had a spacious room with really comfortable beds, our own bathrobes, and an amazing cooked breakfast each morning. Best poached eggs I've ever had! Susie was full of ideas and information which made our stay even... More

We stayed to celebrate my sister in laws 50th. Susie was a superb hostess and put 50th birthday sprinkles in our rooms and a 50th birthday balloon and sprinkles on our table for breakfast. The rooms beautifully decorated in keeping with the building with a lovely comfy beds. We woke to a delicious Northumberland breakfast that set us up for... More

We have just returned from Glororum Farmhouse where we stayed for several nights. It is an ideal base for exploring this beautiful part of the country, whether by car, on foot or by bike. Susie and Graham were excellent hosts, ever ready to provide advice and information about the locality. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and the hearty breakfasts... More

Glororum was the most welcome sight at the end of a 60 mile cycle up the coast from Newcastle - especially after the last 15 miles in the wet. Having had the sense of sight gratified, Suzie and Graham satisfied the remaining senses. Warmed by a welcoming pot of tea and hot bath Graham happily drove us down to the... More

A superb old family home situated in the Northumberland countryside approximately 1 mile outside Bamburgh. Perfect location for visiting Lindisfarne or the beautiful northumberland beaches or castles. The accommodation we found to be first class, very large comfy rooms with modern bath/shower room. Breakfasts were good as well as the hospitality provided. We would happily recommend this accommodation to family... More

We throughly enjoyed our stay with Suzie in the beautifully elegant B&B in Bamburg. She was knowledgable of all things Northumberland , kind and helpful. And after travelling through England and Scotland I can confidently award Suzie with the Best Porridge Award!

Stayed at Glororum for one night whilst visiting friends in nearby Bamburgh. What a beautiful house with the most welcoming of hosts Susie and Graham. Could not have been more friendly, awesome breakfast after a lovely evening with friends. My room was so comfortable - wish I had been able to stay longer. Definately recommend - you will not be... Excellent hidden B&B treat for the discerning traveller seeking genuine unhurried peace and quiet within a stone's throw of bustling Bamburgh....new owners Susie and Graham have done an excellent job, creating a warm welcoming homely environment. Plenty of attention to detail (even putting the kids' names on the milk in the Family Room fridge...!). A generous cooked breakfast using high... More

AS B&B owners ourselves , we are very critical when staying in B&B's in the UK. Glororum was a real find in a superb peaceful location and Susie could not have been more welcoming and helpful. Unfortunately during our stay we had bad weather so it was essential to have a warm, cosy retreat at the end of the day... More
